This weeks challenge at The Corrosive Challenge blog is a sketch - made by ME!!!! It isn't anything fancy, it is my first sketch, so it's a little "crude" - I feel like I was a cavewoman writing in mud on a rock!!! LOL

Birthday Tilda

I made this card using papers from a card kit swap I was in awhile ago......figured I should use them, rather than hoard them!!! That show, HOARDERS, is going to keep my house clean and my craft room clean!! LOL Does anyone else watch it?

I tried something different with the charm...I bought some chain for necklace making and attached it to the charm to make it dangle. It is cute but had to use crystal effects inside the knot to keep it attached (I don't have any wire thingies to open and close the little rings)

Nutsy with birthday cake and more pictures of Minty....

Minty got her hair cut today...she looks WAY cuter and is much friskier!!! LOL (notice the puppy pee pee pad behind her??? LOL)

Here is a birthday card I made for my sister - I used Nutsy with cake from Karen's Doodles!!! Her images are just sooo dang cute I can't put them down!!!! Simple card, the paper is all stuff I've had forever...trying to use what I have!!! I coloured them with SU chalks.

Simon Says...... it's Girly time!

The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is GIRLY TIME - make a card, project, gift, layout, etc. but make it girly!!!!! This week the DT is showcasing Hero Arts - you are not required to use Hero Arts but if you have them, we'd love to see them!!! I used a small ticket set from Hero Arts called Sparkle Clear Stamps TICKETS - and it comes with some gems too!!! So cute!!!! You can get this at Simon Says Stamp. I used Tilda as well - check out Simon's GREAT selection of Magnolia stamps!!!

Birthday hugs

This image is called Pony Love and it is by the very talented Karen at Karen's Doodles!! Isn't it ADORABLE??? The card base is black and then on top of that is a layer of burgundy shimmery paper from Paper Mania (THANKS LOLS!!!). I coloured the image with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol, added a ribbon and some flowers & buttons. The sky is chalked on using my Pebbles shimmer chalks. The sentiment is computer generated!!

I think it might need a charm dangling from the ribbon, what do you think???

Our newest addition....

This is not craft related but wanted to share our newest family member! This is MINTY!

She is a rescued Bichon Shitzu (we think) and is 5 months old. She came to us completely UNTRAINED so we have our work cut out for us!!! She sleeps good through the night but we are having Potty issues!!!! We take her out every 30-45 min. but she doesn't pee or poop. We have training pads around the house, but nothing. She peed yesterday when I turned my back for a second - half on the pee pad & half on the floor (that's a good step, I think!)

She is in desperate need of a haircut -which she is getting on Thurs. so I will post new pics as I get them!!!! She is a cutie, and very sweet...and very playful!!!

Brick is thoroughly NOT impressed!!!! He looks so sad!! She just wants to play with him and he avoids her like the plague!!!! LOL He will come around I'm sure!!!

Here he is totally trying to ignore her...lol

Shaggy girl!!!! She is going to the Vet on Wed. too, to get her puppy shots and a check up. She has a busy week!!!! All this new stuff, new rules, new family, and new brothers (Tux tolerates her too, he just walks away when she tries to sniff him!).
