Simon Says.... Christmas photo inspiration time!!!!

This week, our challenge for you is a PHOTO INSPIRATION CHALLENGE! Joy found this great collage of Christmas items for you to use for inspiration! There is SO much to look at, its a great photo!  I hope you find some inspiration from it!!!

Here is my project:

I had a heck of a time taking a photo of this tag - because it is glossy white card stock and the weather has been so terrible - this is the best I could do, I am SO SORRY!!!!   I used the poinsettia from the Popcorn Bear set called WITH LOVE and heat embossed it with Winter Wonderland EP. I used my OVAL NESTIES and the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder for the background. I have sponged the edges with Very Vanilla ink & the ribbon is Very Vanilla too.  HONEST - in real life, this is SO pretty! I just wish there was a way to take a better picture of it!!!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - Non Traditional Christmas Colours

Here is my card - I have used DECORATING THE TREE.

TRUST ME, this is PINK!!!! LOL  The CS is Melon Mambo (SU) and the DO is from a Recollections paper pack called Jingle Bells - it is glittery fuschia.    I have coloured the image with Copics and added some glitter on the tree and presents.

Stamp Fairy Birthday Blog Hop

Hello everyone, this post will stay at the top until Dec. 31.  PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE RECENT POSTS!!! THANKS!!!!

We have a special post to delight you today. Stamp Fairy is celebrating its FIRST BIRTHDAY , so Gerda and the Stamp fairies are hosting a blog hop, with a difference - EVERYONE who completes the hop will win a prize.

Gerda has released two very special collections showcasing two of her delightful characters.  These collections showcase the characters in 12 monthly themes throughout the year and the Stamp fairies have each created a Calendar using some or all of the images.  Some of us are teasing you with only a month or two of our calendar, but other teamies will share the whole calendar if you're lucky!

 Hoppers...here is what you need to do:  Hop between the Stamp Fairy teamies and the challenge blog, collecting letters for a MYSTERY PHRASE. The letter you are collecting from me is.............

 

Ensure you leave a comment on each teamie's blog (including ME!)  and collect a letter from each teamie along the trip.  The letters are randomly placed but will spell a short phrase.  

Once you have completed the hop, left your comments and collected your letters, work out the phrase and email it to Gerda (webmaster@stampfairy.com).  This will get you a Freebie image. Yes that is right, a Freebie image for everyone who completes the hop and emails the correct phrase.

So, here is what I did!  I took a 5x7 picture frame, took out the glass & punched holes in the back of it with my Crop-o-dile.  I used 2 inch Binder rings to hold my pages on.

Front view (I just added the DP there to make it look pretty..no one will ever see it as the calendar pages are in front of it!)

This is Molly Fairy - isn't she pretty?!?!?   I have coloured her in Autumn colours (with Copics of course) to match the paper, which is Basic Grey, I think!    The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash!  I added 3D Glittering Crystal glue to her wings and wand, and used my Sakura gelly roll STARDUST pen for the rest.
