A scrapbook page
My scrapbooks are very non-scrapbooky.....I scrapbook ALL my pictures I take (unless they are bad ones) and they are all chronological. Since Tim and I met in 2002, I have made 8 (12x12) scrapbooks FULL of our adventures plus 2 wedding scrapbooks, a HOUSE scrapbook with all the renos we've done and a fishing scrapbook for Tim. I'm sure people who scrapbook differently will cringe if they ever saw my scrapbooks, but I love them, and that's all that matters. I put 4 or 5 pictures on a page, I crop them, journal and put very few big embellishments on the pages - I use mostly stickers and stamps to decorate. I do use the computer sometimes for journalling or headings. I do whatever feels good, and I don't worry about matching paper and ribbons and tags and such! Here is a page I did last weekend of Brick. I had a few random pictures of him that didn't fit on any specific page. I used my spiral punch to create filmstrip type backgrounds for the pictures because he is a star (unless he pees on the floor like he did yesterday, then he's naughty!) Anyways, just thought I'd share a page - I don't normally take pictures of my scrapbook pages but I liked this one! Maybe I like it so much because Brick is so handsome!!! (Proud Mommy!!!) Thanks for looking!!!!

Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI really like your dog Miss Chris! Mikey likes the paw print stamps. My Mom says hi!

Oh he is s stunner isn't he? I think scrapbooking is such a personal thing, there is no right or wrong way. It's how we want to remember. I do two kinds, one is like you, heaps of photos and some journalling, the other way is more 'artistic' - it just depends on the occasion and photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, love your filmstrip.
