Simon Says......Shabby Chic!

This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is SHABBY CHIC. While I'm not very good at creating shabby chic art on my own, I had to do some searching for some ideas. I'm still not 100% sure this IS shabby chic, but I tried!!! LOL

I used a Sarah Kay image called Spring Blossoms - available at Simon Says Stamp Superstore!!! The papers I used were from SU, but I can't remember the name of the pack. I added in a chocolate chip embossed piece on the side and distressed the edges of the papers. The flowers and rhinestones were all from my stash. I coloured her using Copics.

After looking at this picture I realize I need a ribbon iron - hmmm!!!!

    fabulous Shabby Chic card Chris :-) I think you just nailed this challenge spot on !! :-) I had to go a hunt for ideas too :-) ha ha and as for a ribbon iron ,, I never knew one existed ,,, and I don't see a crumpled ribbon ,,, and even so it would add to the shabby look eh !! :-)

    Adorable Chris! Love the color combination you used. Don't go buy a ribbon iron - use your hair straightener or curling iron!

    I think I might struggle with this one too, not sure how to make thedifference between shabby and vintage lol but you have done an excellent job here Chris, that little image is perfect.
