This week over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog, our challenge for you is to make a card, scrapbook page or project with a SONG THEME in your head! You know, when you CAN'T get that song out of your mind, and you sing it for DAYS???? I have had the Lion King in my head for the last few weeks, as it is the school play we are doing next year. I somehow got roped into being the producer, so it's a good thing I love that movie!!! NO idea what a producer does, but apparently I DELEGATE a lot....I'm good at that!!! LOL
Here is the scrapling card I made with "I just can't wait to be King" as my song title!!
The papers were in my scrap bin, and the Lion is from Magnolia, which you can get at Simon Says Stamp! The little crown is from a Inky Antics set (Princess Turtle) I got AGES ago!! I coloured "Simba" with Copics and added stickles to the crown to make it BLINGY!!!

I have to say I love it! My daughter and I just watched Lion King the other night, and your card reminded me of her singing along with that song! Thanks so much for the great reminder.

I love the song called Home sung by Michael Buble so that was the inspiration for my card.

ReplyDeleteSuch a fab card darlin, i LOVE the Lion King, my all time fave Disney movie, cant even keep count on the amount of times i have watched it lol, i was even in my School Choir singing the Lion King songs lol, bet you will have a blast being the Producer of the School Play though hun and hearing all the fab songs from Lion King, i bet you will be singing along too, i would lol :)
