Still searching for my mojo - I DID make a card last night but it sucks! LOL Tim got a couple movies for tonight so maybe tomorrow!!! I wanted to post this award that I received from Donelda - she is such a sweet person and a great friend - I just wish you lived about an hour closer!!!

This award was given to me because I don't leave the run of the mill comments. If I am going to take the time to comment, I try to make it meaningful and from the heart, what I truly feel! If I don't have much time, comments sometimes can be short.....but I do mean what I say! I am so inspired by sooo many of you! And again, want to thank you all for your comments - they mean so much to me! I get so excited when I see that a comment has been added to a post!!! (small things amuse small minds, ya know!) So, now I have to give this award to others who are great blog commenters....well, wait, that sounds BAD! You are ALL great blog commenters, I just have to pick some!

A Valentine's Gift for me

I am feeling the LOVE today!! I got this GREAT package in the mail today from JACQUE, a very sweet member at Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group as a thank you for all the fun activities I do with them! It came at a really great time because I was very frustrated with some things that have been happening there & it made me realize that I do what I do because of people like Jacque!!! I have to NOT let the "cranky pants" get to me & to not take it personally!!!!

Here are the pics of the items she sent me! The card in itself is a gift - a piece of ART - so beautiful, but she also spoiled me with a bunch of goodies to play with (& eat!!)
Here is the card - isn't it gorgeous?? It is huge too (6x6) & it came with a handmade envie!!!!

Here is the whole package of goodies!! 3 Valentine's stamps, 2 rolls of purple ribbon, a package of really cool Prima Obsessions (they are so pretty - I've never seen these ones before!) and the mailbox with all that chocolate (there is more inside the mailbox!!)

This little mailbox was FULL of DOVE chocolates (YUMMMM) - isn't it adorable?? I want to know where she bought these mailboxes...they are TOO cute!!!!

I'm trying out to be a Guest Diva for High Hopes Stamps!!!

You all know how much I love my High Hopes - well, they have a DT call out for a Guest Diva for April, May and June!! OMG - can you say DREAM COME TRUE??????? We had to use this sketch:

So, I made two, and I can't decide which one I like better, so I'm going to submit both!!! EEEKK!!! WISH ME LUCK!!!! Here they are:

This first one is a 5 1/4" square card & I used my precious Basic Grey "sugared" paper and chocolate chip (SU)

This card is a regular A2 card, using So Saffron and Basic Grey "sugared" too. The lighting is terrible tonight - the baby dragon looks so washed out & she isn't - she is a pretty pink!!

Anyways, those are my entries - I hope they love them as much as I do!!! THANKS for stopping by!!!

Cards from my workshop last week (& an extra!)

This card was made with a card kit I got in a swap MONTHS ago - they sat in a box until I finally decided to do something with them. I went through most at Christmas time, but had a few sitting here still. I have NO idea what company makes that giraffe image but it is cute! The other stamps are from Papertrey Ink's set Bitty Baby Blessings.

We made this card at the workshop I had at my house last week - it is home made DP (which I made from a One Sheet Wonder)then popped up - very simple! The hearts and sentiment are from Verve Stamps and the birds are fromSU's Love you much set.

This one is a TOTAL CASE from someone on SCS but I cannot remember who (sorry!) This is the set Just Buzzin' By - a brand new one by SU - CUTE!!!!

This is a 2,5,7,10 box we made as well! I got the tutorial from SCS - it was pretty easy but definately need the red line tape - it holds WAY better!!!! The stamps are from Verve.

Altered Tins

I bought these little tins at Michael's for 60 cents after Christmas & saw them sitting there in my HUGE pile of alterable items that NEVER get altered & thought "What the heck". So I grabbed my Mod Podge and my foam brush and went to work! These are the result. They didn't take long - they are just messy!!!

Wish I had a better view of the side - I used chocolate chip dp and some chocolate chip ribbon.

Here is the second one I did - using Bella Rose paper and a cute Tilda. This one is for my friend Lorinna's birthday (I know she reads my blog so...HI!!!)

Ice Fishing with my boys!

Yesterday, I went for a picnic/ice fishing trip with Tim and Brick. It was so gorgeous out (+7 Degrees Celsius). We took the BBQ and had smokies & snacks. I played with Brick while Tim fished (he didn't catch anything) Here are a few pics of our day!!! We had so much fun!!!! I was SO tried when we got home though - oy!!!!

Family picture - we were at Severn Reservoir, which is between Standard & Rosebud, about 80 km. east of Calgary. I'm not really sure what it "dams" up - it is just tiny little creeks that run along that area! Guess we'll have to check it out in the spring or summer!! This was one of Tim's NEW discoveries this winter!

Our handsome boy!!! He loves loves loves hanging outside where he can run and pee on everything and anything!!!!

These are our sled tracks - Tim & I both fit in the sled he uses for all his equipment and went for a little ride! I felt like a kid again! Wheeeeeeeeeee!

Me sledding & Brick chasing me - he's so silly!!! He isn't sure what to do so he jumps right in front of the sled - dummy!!! So this time I took the frisbee and threw it so he'd run AWAY from me!!! Good action shot!!
