Friend frame & mini album

My SBS4 sister, Diana, put together these awesome kits with 3 projects in them. Such a cool idea!!!! Head on over to her blog and check out her work - she is AWESOME!!!!



I finally got a chance to make the April kit, which was a clear card, a 6x6 album and a chipboard frame. I didn't take a picture of the clear card but here is my album and my frame.

This is the frame I made with the papers she sent. I added Tilda instead of a photo cuz Tim was hogging the computer so I couldn't print one off!!! LOL



And here is the mini 6 x 6 album - really simple to make actually (especially since she had everything cut and scored for me!!!LOL) I used a Hanglar & Stanglar image I received from a friend - isn't she sweet??

They are both so cute I don't want to give them away!!! LOL

I am soooo proud of Nicole for achieving her dream, and today, it is a reality!!It brings a tear of joy to my eye to see all of her hard work finally pay off!!!! And I am so proud of our FABULOUS Design Team, the Inspirational Inkettes, for all of their HARD work and dedication to this up and coming company!!! It WILL be big..you just watch and see!!!! Wait until you see these fabulous stamps, you are going to LOVE them!! The images are simply adorable and the quality & detail is exceptional! Each stamp is "EXTRA deep etched" on quality red rubber for a crisp, clean impression every time!

The first card I want to share with you is Angelica's Heart Socks. Is she not THE cutest thing you've ever seen??? I coloured her with Copic markers and my Atyou Spica pens. The cardstock I used is Garden Green (SU) and the Designer paper is from Basic Grey.





This is a little notepad I made using LiLi's Egg Hunt. You would never know looking at this that it is an Easter image would you? I put the ladybug over the egg that is hiding in the grass and added some little flower brads inside her basket. The look on her face might suggest a spider was hiding in the grass, but I didn't' have any little spiders (at least that is how MY face would look - I'm NOT a fan of spiders AT ALL!!!! LOL) the Designer paper is from CTMH and the little epoxy sticker is from Fiskars (I think!)

Ok, is she seriously not THE cutest thing you've seen?? This is Angelica one of the INKY IMPRESSIONS girls. You will see a lot of her and her sister LiLi on my blog!!!! Head to the store and snatch them up while you can!!!! They are going like "hot cakes" (I never really understood that saying......hmmmm!) Anyways, here is a card I made using a mat stack that I have of foil and glittery butterflies. I also used a mirror butterfly from Heidi Swapp. I wasn't sure of a sentiment to go with this so I left it blank (bottom right) ...any ideas????

Inky Impression Design Team challenge #1

(after you read this, scroll down....I have TWO posts today!!!!)

PHEW!!! That Blog hop was FUN!!!!! I hope you all had a GREAT time and got some great inspiration for these BRAND NEW CUTIES!!!!!

The Inspirational Inkettes have some GREAT projects to share with you, showcasing all of the different images available from Inky Impressions. This week the challenge for us was a colour challenge. We were to use Baja Breeze, Pink Passion and So Saffron!

SUCH a pretty colour combo!!!! Here is the card I made for the challenge:

The butterfly paper is from a mat stack of Glittery butterflies. This is also LiLi's Egg hunt but this time I added little flowers (confetti) to her basket! See how versatile these stamps can be?? AMAZINGLY cute, isn't she????? And OMG, the quality of rubber is something I have NEVER seen before - it is sooo deeply etched and inks SO nicely!!!! BEAUTIFUL pieces of RUBBAHHHH!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! LOL

I HAVE to give a shout out to my DT sister, Kristine for the FABULOUS watermark!! It is sooo official and sooo pretty!!! I LOVE IT!!! THANKS Kris, you are the BEST!!!!!

Simon Says.......use pink & brown!

Over at the Simon Says Challenge blog, this weeks challenge is to use PINK & BROWN! I don't know one person who doesn't like that colour combo!!!! I really hope you will join us for this challenge, and ink up your NEW stamps!!!!! I couldn't wait to ink them up, they are sooo cute!!!!

Here is my card for this week:

This card is another Stair-Step fold - I just love how 3 dimensional these cards are and SO fun to make!!! This type of fold just SCREAMED for a scene card. So, I used 3 Simon Says Stamp sets: Mushrooms grow together, Deer with forest family, and Simply the Best sentiments. The card base is Regal Rose, and the DP is from Basic Grey. I paper pieced the large mushroom and coloured everything else with Copics. The porcupines and the skunk are popped up & I added googly eyes to the skunk and the squirrel!

Janet's Corrosive Challenge #15

Hi everyone! I was asked by Janet to be a Guest Designer for her challenge blog THE CORROSIVE CHALLENGE BLOG for June, July and August. I am honoured!! Janet & I go way back, and we seem to meet online in the oddest places! Janet is my upline for Stampin Up! and we have been in and hosted many swaps together on SCS. Challenge #1 for this week is to make a Father's Day/Guy card, so here is my entry for this challenge. I used a Squigglefly image called A Snack and A Nap. This guy reminds me of my dad laying on the couch. My Dad is 78 years old and still has a very full head of hair, although it is salt & peppery. His belly isn't quite that big but getting close!!! LOL (shhh, don't tell him I said that!!) Usually he has a plate of cheese or a bowl of ice cream in his lap!!! I am going to give this to my Dad for Father's Day.
