A few SIMPLE cards to share.......

I made this card quickly the other day...no real reason except to use this neat burlap flower paper from Prima that I bought when I was on holidays! I didn't want to cover it up but it was hard not to..... I don't really like this card but here it is anyway!!! The image is Rosalie, from CC Designs.




Another simple card, just because! The image is Amanda Panda, from Karen's Doodles. I had high hopes for this card but it didn't turn out how I wanted it to!! Ahhh well!!!! I think my mojo is going !!! UH OHHH!!!!




This is a Dustin Pike image, and a small 4x4 card. It is a simple, just because card. I like to tuck little cards in with things I mail to people as a little hello! Nothing fancy about this little guy either!!!!

AND, another VERY simple Z fold card with The Greeting Farm image....really, honestly, nothing fancy!!!!

Sorry if I totally bored you with these cards....they don't thrill me, so I don't expect them to thrill you either! LOL
Hope to have something with more substance tomorrow!!!!

Paper Jewels Challenge....

I decided to join in this months challenge at the Paper Jewels blog, which is a colour challenge, to use navy, yellow and wine. I was on a "candle" kick so thought I would make one using my new Bildmalarna image (well...not new, but uninked for a few months!!!) I hope the navy and the wine colours are close enough - it is a navy copic, just lost some of its vibrancy in the candle and in the photo!!! Hope it counts!!!!

Simon Says...... Sketch time!!

A couple more birthday cards......

I needed to make a couple birthday cards, one is for a friend and the other is for my nephew who is a basketball fan! This first one is a Whimsy Doodles image & it comes with the sentiment - funny eh??

And this is Riley Moose playing basketball! I added some crystal lacquer to the ball to give it some dimension and then made the sentiment look like a dog tag. The background is my Cuttlebug STAR folder, and it is purple because that is my nephew's team colours - purple & white!

Rootin' Tootin' cowboy!

Here is the card I am entering for this weeks challenge at Karen's Doodles Challenge USA blog . The theme is birthday/celebration.

I made this card for my oldest brother who has always been a "cowboy" kinda dude!!! He inspired my love for horses and the great outdoors!!! He is in his 50's but I'm sure he will love this card anyway!!!

Here is my card. The image from Phindy that I used is called Grandma's Fancy Hat...isn't it cute? I coloured her with Copics and used Choclate Chip and Vanilla cardstock (SU). The DP is from Basic Grey.

Mother's Day Cards....

Here are the 2 Mother's Day cards I made for my Mom and Tim's Mom. The paper is Lavender Moon and Plum Pudding from PTI. I used the Swiss Dots CB folder for the back layer and Lavender Moon ribbon. The first image is from Lili of the Valley (thanks Shana!) and the second is a Prairie Fairy image. Roberta was giving this away free to use to enter her DT call, but I didn't get enough time to make something with it before the call was over! Ahhh well!!!! It is still a GREAT fairy, and I just HAD to use it!!!! The sentiments are from Teeny Tiny Wishes from SU!

Happy Mothers Day to all you MOMS out there!!!! I hope you have a GREAT day!!!! We will be trying to go from one house to the other, so hopefully we get some good quality visiting in with our Moms!!!!
