Catch the Bug challenge - Anything Goes

So, you all know how in love with Bugaboo Stamps I am, right? Well, I have gone CRAZY making cards with the images!!! So I thought I better start entering them into challenges before I forget about them!!! So, for June, the challenge at Catch the Bug is ANYTHING GOES. So I am entering this card I made for a friends hubby:

I have used Gus Birthday - Optional.  The inside of this says "Growing up is optional", which totally fits my friends hubby!!  The CS is Bashful Blue and Black (SU) and I used the Diamond Plate Cuttlebug folder for the background.  Black twine, buttons and some sparkly stickers finish it off! I have coloured Gus with Copics. I added some crystal lacquer to Gus' glasses and the headlights of his car!

Simon Says........................Diamond Jubilee

This week, our challenge for you is   
Diamond Jubilee, Patriotism, Crowns & Gems!!!

Lots of choice for this weeks theme eh?? As I type this I am watching the Diamond Jubilee concert & it is putting me in the mood!!!!  What a milestone for the Queen!!!!  Anyway,Here is my card for this week:

 I have used:  Crown, Prom Queen Tilda, and Castle Window all from Magnolia.  I have had these stamps for about 2 years and I think this is the first time I've inked any of them up!!! Tilda is so pretty sitting in the window....wonder why I never used them before!?!?!?

The crowns are adorned with ICE STICKLES and I added Darice Crystal Rhinestones
to the card for some bling!!! The CS is Perfect Plum & Lovely Lavender and the DP is from my stash - I am SURE it is Basic Grey but alas, I have NO idea!!!!

Karen's Doodles - FAREWELL!!!!

It is with a sad heart that this is the LAST Karen's Doodles challenge before we shut it down!  Due to a variety of reasons, the Karen's Doodles challenge blog will no longer be!  Sad I know, since I've been with Karen since almost the beginning! And the team has gotten very close, I will miss these girls!!!!!

Love to Create - Father's Day or For that Special Guy

Good morning everyone!!! Happy Monday!!!!! This week the LOVE TO CREATE Challenge is to make a FATHER'S DAY or SPECIAL GUY in your life card or project! I have made this card to Tim, my hubby!

This week our sponsor is BUGABOO STAMPS and I have used Skelekinz Boys - You Rock my World image.  I have coloured it with Copics and added crystal lacquer to the guitar.  It comes with the sentiment which is awesome!!!!!  The DT were so lucky to get to choose a digi to work with & I couldn't wait to colour this guy up!!!!!

I have used PARTY DOG - cute eh?  I have coloured it all with Copics and added Crystal Lacquer to the balloons for dimension.  The CS is Basic Black (SU) and the DP is from my stash. The stars are punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch that I got for Christmas!
