Designed2Delight challenge.....

This week's freebie image from Faith at Designed2Delight is called "Fishin' Around"...isn't he adorable??? I love his big smile!!

I used Apricot Bazzill cardstock and DP from SU! It is kind of a random mix of colours but I kinda like it! I coloured him with Copics then used my Pebbles Inc. Shimmer chalks for the water and sky- which I got at Simon Says Stamp. The sentiment is from an old Studio G set from Michael's.

I am also entering this at Double Delight Challenge, because they want us to use ribbon, twine or string! I used ribbon (chocolate chip) and twine in the buttons! Lucky me!!!! LOL

Hope you are all having a SUPER weekend!!!

Biking Tilda

This is another card I made from the ingredients in a Magnolia Card Kit swap I was in awhile ago! I coloured Tilda with Copics and used the papers and embellies that were in the kit. The butterfly was really cool - made out of transparency kinda paper, but really really pretty!! The ribbon is vintage seam binding & from the looks of this picture, I should have ironed it...oops!!! LOL Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a great day!!!

Tilda watching the sunset

I made this card using papers, embellies and the image from a Card Kit I got awhile ago. I coloured Tilda with Copics then made the water and sunset with chalks. After I took this picture, I added stickles to her wings (I forgot before I took a picture..whooopsss!!!) I kinda like how the sunset turned out actually!

Thanks for stopping by!

Simon Says....Make a gift for someone!

Photobucket

This week our challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is to make a GIFT for someone!!! I made this gate fold notebook for my buddy (can't say who!!!) It was a kit I got from Paper Wishes a long time ago - I used some of the papers but made it my own for the most part - and added Tilda. You can get Tilda at the Simon Says Stamp Superstore, along with MANY of the other Magnolia stamps!!!! I love that key too - so fun to work with! You can get those at Simon Says too!!!

This notebook opens in the middle like a gate, and the pages inside alternate sides (first page opens left, 2nd page opens right, etc.) It was fun to make!! Here is the inside - open to the first page. I didn't decorate the other pages though.

I hope you will head to the Challenge blog and check out the other gifts the DT have made for your viewing pleasure! THEN, get crafting and make a gift for someone!!!! Good idea to get a head start on Christmas gifts maybe?!?!?! LOL We also have a Guest DT member this month, so please go visit JACKIE to see her FABBY creation!!!!

Don't forget you can win this:

And come back Friday to win some more!!!!! Check out the DT blogs for more blog candy too!!!! Have a GREAT week!!!

Insanity + Marriage go hand in hand!!

LOL!!! This card is for my in-laws for their upcoming Anniversary! They have been happily married 25+ years, but they aren't the "mushy card" type of people! I found the perfect image and sentiment at Bugaboo Stamps! Hilarious digis there! Go check it out!!!

Inside it says... "then again, so does insanity" (I forgot to take a picture of the insides! SORRY!)

I printed the image quite large so the layout is pretty simple! Thanks for stopping by!

Kenny K - Bold & Bright challenge

I am so happy I am able to join in on the Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge again this week!!! Their challenge is Bold & Bright, so I rummaged through all my DP & found the brightest paper I could find, then I set off to colour to Queens Cutie to match!! I had some bright ribbon & flowers in my stash that matched pretty closely so I decided to use them! Wish me luck this week!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Blackleaf Studios new release..

... of some AWESOME Halloween Digi papers!!! Here is a sample of the whole set you can get at Blackleaf Studios shop. Go check it out!!! Very cool!!! And they match perfectly with the Trick or Treat sets that they sell!!! They even have SVG cutting files for your die cut machines!! How fun is that???

Here are a couple projects I made using the papers. The first is a party hat, which I will fill with candy for my niece; and the second is a Halloween card.
For the card, I drew on the spider web with a Versamarker and heat embossed it. I added 2 plastic spiders to the web & covered them with stickles. The witch shoe paper and the haunted house image are all available at Blackleaf Studios!
