Easter challenge at Karen's Doodles

I am entering this card in Karen's Doodles challenge at the USA blog. I used the image called A present for Mom. I coloured it with Copic markers and used some scrap DP. The card base is Brilliant Blue (SU) and the ribbon is from my scrap ribbon bin! I used At you Spica pens on the flowers and a souffle pen for the center of the flowers.

Thanks for looking! Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!! I won 3rd place in the Karen's Doodles UK challenge last week....think I can win another?!? We'll see!!! I'm not usually that lucky!!! LOL

Have a great Sunday!!

Tent cards....

Hi everyone! These are my first Tent Cards I made.....thought I'd try my hand at them...and they are surprisingly EASY!!! And fun!! This first one I just used DP in the background but the second one I added a background image. This is a CC Designs stamp from their Spring Kit. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp sentiment set. Flowers and brads are from my stash!

Here is a side view of her dangling. She didn't dangle very well because of her antennae but she is still pretty cute!!!

And here is the second one I did, using a Magnolia image:

The background is also a Magnolia image. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp sentiment set. Flowers and brads from my stash, as usual! LOL

And a side view!
I think I will make more of these, they are fun & so cute!!!! I might get more adventurous about embellishing them on the front.....ooohhh!!!! LOL
HERE is the link for the tutorial for this card!

The Corrosive Challenge Blog.....Let's get Lucky!!!

K, first of all, get your minds out of the gutter!!!! LOL THAT is your challenge over at The Corrosive Challenge blog this week!!! Put something on your card or project of something that brings good luck - or make a good luck charm if you so desire! IT is up to you!!!!

I made this card from a kit I got from Paper Wishes - they have a Personal Shopper kit of the month where they send you all the things you need to make 10+ cards! This was one of them...it is kinda neat, but no stamping involved which is why I added Riley Moose drinking a green beer on the front!!!

from the top view, so you have an idea what the whole card looks like.

Here is the card when it is closed; the blue background is actually the inside of the card!

the front of the card (see how it is cut along the rainbow?)

and the inside of the card (the coins in the pot are actual coin brads that they sent in the kit...aren't they cute??)

The little shamrocks were in the kit too, with a little origami pattern to make them. Cute eh?
Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!! Don't forget to wear green on Wednesday!!!!!
