Incy Wincy Designs Challenge

This week's challenge is "FOR YOU" - this is an EASY one so I would LOVE to see more people over there joining in!!!! Now that I am on the Design Team, you will be seeing these challenges every Monday - so I hope you will head over there and support our tiny little challenge blog so it can GROW into something big and wonderful!!!!!
Here is my card:
I used Chelsea, a digi image available at the Incy Wincy Designs shop. I shrunk her down so she would fit in the kitchen scene from Alota Rubber Stamps. This is my third try at this card - I was NOT happy with the first 2, so I pulled them apart and ended up with this one! I am happy with it for the most part, although I feel it could be better! I coloured it all with Copics, added Crystal Effects on the clock, jar, pump, bowl and handles to give it some dimension. The picture is really blurry - sorry about that, not sure what happened this time!!!! OY!!!!

I would love it if you could join us over at INCY WINCY DESIGNS CHALLENGE BLOG for this week's challenge!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Is it the end of gardening season already??? BOOO HOOOOO

I made this card one day after I came in from tending to my garden - I am NOT a gardener by any means, I have a few flowers, a sad little tomato plant and a stick that is supposed to be a raspberry bush! I try, but I just can't seem to get things to FLOURISH!!! Ahhh well!!!! Anyway, on to the card.......it's an interactive one today!! It was fun to make!!!!

The card from the outside (this is a 6x6 card), door closed....... (see the little garden shovel??)

And open the garden shed door and there is Tilda, collecting her lilacs!!!

I even decorated the inside!!! I rarely do that!

The paper is from a pack I got from TAC awhile ago, can't even remember the name of it!!! The garden shed is from Alota Rubber Stamps & Tilda, of course is from Magnolia! The little garden shovel charm was bought a long time ago - I THINK from Stamping Bella, but don't quote me on that one!!! I popped the shed up on foam so that Tilda looked like she was far away, cut open the door with my craft knife, then added some flowers to complete the "garden" feel. The felt flowers & buttons were in the is little box of flowers & buttons (I think from Making Memories) that I got from my friend Lorinna for my birthday.....such pretty colours!!! Oh, I coloured the shed and Tilda with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol & added Crystal Effects to the pots for some dimension!! That's it, that's all!!

Head to Lorraine's blog to see her blog candy this week - she is giving away a Magnolia stamp of YOUR choice, courtesy of Simon Says Stamp! HURRY!!!!!

Post It Note Keychains

On Nov.1, I will be going to a Christmas Craft Market to try to sell my "wares"...LOL.....so as you know, I've been busy creating things that I think will sell, or that have sold well in the past! You've already seen the Christmas Planners and journals, so here is the next set of things I made.

I made a whole BUNCH of Post It Note keychains, both large (3x3) and smaller ones (2x2). I never did end up taking a picture of the smaller ones, I will try to remember to do that to show you. I made the cover 6 1/2 x 3 1/4, covered with DP (great way to use up your scraps) and added an image. I used my crop-o-dile to punch a hole and attach a clip and a ribbon for a finishing touch. Very simple, very quick!!! Here are a few of the ones I made:

The Princess is from SU (not sure the name of the set - this was an image given to me ages ago) and the donkey is from Alota Rubber Stamps.

The flowers and sentiment are from TAC (The Angel Company) and the bee on the sunflower is from Alota Rubber Stamps.

These make great stocking stuffers or little gifts for gift baskets!!! I have one hanging in my car to jot things down & I have one in my purse & one in my desk at work!!!!

Thanks for taking a peek! Enjoy the rest of the week!!!

Custom made Guest book

Every Thursday night, I head out to Crossfield, a small town north of Calgary. It is where I grew up & my parents still live there. In the Spring and Summer, they have a Farmer's Market, and for the last 2 years I have had a table there, trying to sell my cards & gift items. A lady kept coming by looking at my notebooks, talking about a Guest book for friends of hers. So last week, I offered to make one for her so she could take it with her when she goes to visit them. Here is what I came up with:

I hope she likes it!!!

Paper: Outlaw DP; Soft Suede CS
Ink: Copics; Soft Suede
Stamps: Cottage from Alota Rubber Stamps
Accessories: buttons; RSVP pen; crystal effects

THANKS for popping by! Have a GREAT 4th of July to all my American friends!!!!!

A couple cards for other people

I had to make a couple cards for other people so I did that yesterday and tonight. It was a busy weekend, so I didn't get much done craft wise!
This first card is for a friend who is sick with Strep Throat - ugh!!! It is using the Alota Rubber Stamps donkey set, and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp sentiment set. I almost wish I had stamped the sentiment in the darker pink - I might change that before I send it off!!!

This card is for my sister to give to a friend who is moving to Northern Ontario (brrrrr) - I used Petey from Inky Antics, put Crystal Effects on the bucket and the snow is the Glittering Crystal 3D paint. The sentiment is made from my Karen Foster Snap Stamps.

That's it, that's all! I have a mega-migraine tonight so this will be short and sweet cuz I am off to bed!!! My head feels like it weighs 30 lbs. Sigh!!!!!
