Custom made Guest book

Every Thursday night, I head out to Crossfield, a small town north of Calgary. It is where I grew up & my parents still live there. In the Spring and Summer, they have a Farmer's Market, and for the last 2 years I have had a table there, trying to sell my cards & gift items. A lady kept coming by looking at my notebooks, talking about a Guest book for friends of hers. So last week, I offered to make one for her so she could take it with her when she goes to visit them. Here is what I came up with:

I hope she likes it!!!

Paper: Outlaw DP; Soft Suede CS
Ink: Copics; Soft Suede
Stamps: Cottage from Alota Rubber Stamps
Accessories: buttons; RSVP pen; crystal effects

THANKS for popping by! Have a GREAT 4th of July to all my American friends!!!!!

Blogger boo boos?!?!?

Is anyone else having trouble with scheduling posts on Blogger??? It seems my scheduled posts are not posting until I come in and re-enter the date....there is nothing different to what I normally do, date and time are now, it is "published" not a draft......

This has happened about 5 or 6 times now, and I worry that when I am away next week, my scheduled posts aren't going to "post". This is the same reason why my Blog hop post for Inky Impressions never posted on time!!! FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I changed the dates to 7/01/09 from 7/1/09 which Blogger automatically does.....and then it posts it immediately. BUT when I go to post options and type in 7/01/09...it sets it back to 7/1/09...does that make sense or am I rattling off stuff???

So, am I crazy? Or is there seriously something wrong? AM I missing something tiny? I know I'm not totally computer literate but I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out...this one has me stumped!!! ANY suggestions? ideas? hammers?? LOL

Inky Impressions challenge #4...Distress it!!

This weeks challenge over at Inky Impressions Challenge Blog is to DISTRESS IT!!! I needed a gift card holder for my classroom assistant so I turned this challenge into a gift!!! I used LiLi's head only, and a template I got from Two Peas in a bucket AGES ago!! It is still a favourite, because it is SO easy!!!!! All edges of the paper and circles are distressed. Funny thing is, this is the 2nd one I did - I dropped the ink pad right on LiLi's head so I had to redo it!!! Whoops!!!!

Here is the inside:

Janet's Corrosive Challenge #18

This weeks challenge for Corrosive Challenge Blog is to make something using your countries colours/or something to do with your country. I came across this picture of my sister and my niece at a Canada Day parade a couple of years ago and thought I could use it for this challenge. Canada's flag is red and white so of course I went with those colours! The image at the bottom is from High Hopes. The "Canadian Eh? stamps are from a set I got from Cornish Heritage Farms - so NICE to see Canadian stamps!!! The maple leaf stamp I used on the background is from Michael's $1.50 bin. The leaf punch is from Martha Stewart. I think it turned out really well!!! I'm sure they will kill me for posting this pic....sorry!!!! HAD to use it, it was perfect!!!! ;-)

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!!
