Simon Says...THANKS!!!

This week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is "THANKS" or "Thanksgiving" - depending where you are located in the world!! Since Canada had their Thanksgiving in Oct., and the USA Thanksgiving is coming up at the end of Nov., I decided to make a THANK YOU card! I used Tilda in swirling leaves and some Autumn looking papers! The leaves are MS punches!

Sweet Wonderful YOU!!!

Another scrapling I made....using a new Tilda from the Lazy Days of Summer collection. I used up the scrap paper for the card base, the DP, the layers and the ribbon!!!

Scraplings are great because they use the long strip that is left over when you make a square card. For example, if you make a 5x5 card, the leftover strip will be 11x3.5....or if you make a 5.25x5.25 card, the leftover strip will be 11x3.25...so, depending on what size of card you make, determines the size of your scrapling!! Cool huh??

Oh hey, my friend Deb & I started a new Yahoo Group - called Late Night Stampers......it is a lot of fun so far with more fun to come!!! Incy Wincy Designs Challenge # 16

Corrosive Challenge ..... Anything but a card

This weeks challenge at Janet's Corrosive Challenge Blog is to make Anything but a card!!!! Wellllllll, again, right up my alley!!!!!! Today is my Craft Sale, so I have been VERY busy making "things" to sell at it so this challenge is PERFECT!!!!! I have made a ton of things, most I have shown you already but not these simple little jars. I had 3 of these really cute little jars that I really didn't want to recycle (you never know, right?? I think I might need to be on that Hoarders show!!! LMAO)

I filled the jars with GUMBALLS and decorated them with Magnolia images. I did 1 Tilda and 2 Edwins, and decorated the tops! They are VERY simple but I am hoping that the little kids that are at the sale will see them and BEG their parents for them!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I sell lots & make lots of money to buy new "toys"!!!! I will give you an update tomorrow!!!!

Simon Says.....All that SPARKLES!!!

This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is ALL THAT SPARKLES - so BRING ON THE BLING!!!!!

I used some Shimmer paper from PaperMania that my DT Sister LOLS gave me for my birthday - it is sooo shiny and shimmery I HAD to use it for this challenge!!!! The sentiment is from SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS - a Simon Says Stamp exclusive set which is my ALL time FAVE!!!! The tutu stamp is from another SSS exclusive set called "Heather's Dance Ballet Tap Jazz" which is GREAT for all those little dancers in your life!!! I have 3 neices that all take dance so this set gets used a LOT!!!!! The ribbon is lilac organza and I added a charm, some stickles and some rhinestones.

Three.... Three Challenges in One!!!!

LOL..ok, I have NO idea where that came from...was it a commercial or something???









Anyway, I managed to combine THREE challenges into one card....yahoooo!!!! I surprised even myself!!! LOL

Here is my card:

And here are the challenges I am entering it into:

1. BEE CRAFTY - the theme is DISTRESSING (I did distress all the papers - hard to see, but honest...I did!!!) and to use a Digi image

2. DARE U 2 DIGI - the theme is NO squares allowed - has to be a shaped card, and use a Digi image

3. WENDY'S DIGITAL DOODLING - the challenge is to use Cupcake Tilly (a FREEBIE!!!!!!) and to tell you all about Digital Doodling. So, here I am.....enabling...I mean...telling you about another GREAT blog!!!! I stumbled upon this blog through a new friends blog (HI LIZ!!) The Tilly images that Wendy has are ADORABLE!!!!! The sad part is, she isn't selling these images... YET!!! IF she gets enough interest she might sell a few of them...sooooo, pop over to her blog, take a peek and leave her a comment telling her you'd love to buy her images!!!! I know I will!!!!

Now, about the card:

I cut the base with my Circle nesties, then layered the 2 DPs on top (both Basic Grey - Sugared) and popped Tilly up. The image is from Digital Doodling and I coloured her using Copics. I added stickles to the cupcake to make it look like sprinkles and added a little Sakura Stardust gelly roll pen to the flowers in her hair! Isn't she cute??

THAT wraps up my card - for THREE challenges!! Wheeee!!!!!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge # 15

This weeks challenge was set by Liz who won a challenge a few weeks ago. Part of her prize was to choose the next challenge! Her challenge for us this week is to USE YOUR FAVOURITE EMBELLISHMENT!!! Ohh boy, this will be hard! I have LOTS of favourites!!!! LOL For this card I used Prima flowers and rhinestones!

After reading her blog, I noticed that this Rosie is actually her new puppy!!! VERY VERY CUTE!!! Doodle Dallions, paper piercing templates, floral digis and paper packs are some of them...and she has some really neat decoupage kits too!!! Off I go - shopping time!!! LOL

Two... Two Challenges in One!!!

Well, today I had some time to craft as Tim went out "racing" - his new hobby is racing RC (remote control) cars & trucks. So, he is gone most Sat. & Sun. nights so I have a quiet house to craft!!!! Yaaaaa me!!!!! I was able to combine 2 challenges with this one card:




The first challenge I am entering this into is the HIGH HOPES challenge, which is ALL ABOUT KIDS. They have some GREAT kid stamps, and I thought this little fairy would be perfect for my niece's birthday in March (planning WAY ahead!!! LOL)

The second challenge I am entering this into is the STAMPS and SMILES challenge which is to use this really cool sketch! I couldn't wait to try it!!! Head over to the blog to see the sketch!

I used Elegant Eggplant CS, the DP is from a paper pad from Daisy & Dandelion and the image is from High Hopes. The sentiment is from Stamping Bella (I think!) and I coloured the fairy with Copics and added lots of glitter!!!! The card does open up too, and inside it just says "Birthday Wishes" but I really like the front pocket - you can put anything in there really - a gift card, a book mark, or a tag like I did!!! The options are endless!!!

Corrosive Challenge ... make a SHAPED card

The challenge this week at Janet's Corrosive Challenge blog is to make a SHAPED card, something different, heart, star, circle, oval, etc. I used my Baby Girl Dress template and made another baby card! I traced it onto cardstock and the front piece onto DP then adhered it. I sponged all the edges, and added ribbon and flowers to make it girlie!! This is for my Sister in law who HATES pink and purple but she just had a baby girl...LOL
