Moving Along with the Times...Challenge card

 This card is for the Moving along with the Times Challenge blog - LAYERS (2 or more) challenge.  I think I'm just squeaking this in at the last minute!! PHEW!!!!!

The CS is Pale Plum & the DP is from Paper Pizazz.  The image is Party Time Lucy from CC Designs.  The flowers are from my EK Success retro flower punch.  I'm pretty sure there are 7 layers on this card....yikes!!!

I have used  Bunny Girl  and coloured it with Copics. I added stickles to the eggs and distressed the edges just a bit. 

The CS is Sage Shadow (SU) and the DP and ribbon are from my stash.

I have used paper from my scraps bin, so not even sure where they are from, although I'm pretty sure the DP is from SU. I have used my We R Memory Keepers SEW EASY kit that I got from Simon Says Stamp! It makes stitching easy & fun....and I don't have to haul out the sewing machine!!!!

I have used Dragon's Nest - cute eh? I am in the midst of reading Clash of Kings (the Game of Thrones series book 2) and it reminded me of Daenerys' dragons!!! Can't wait to see how that story line plays out!!!!   Has anyone read that series yet?  We watched season 1 on HBO and are just waiting for season 2 to come out...can't wait!!!!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge card

 Third day in a row of cards for fun!! Wheeeeeeee!
This one is for the Little Miss Muffet Challenge - which is Anything Goes (IF you use a LMM image, which I did!!!) I have used Peggy Sue Hatter which I just got last week.....love the big hat!!  Makes me wish I could wear hats & still look so cute!! LOL

This is a cute little tent card, that I made for a friend.  The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps and the flowers are my EK success Retro flower punch.

Saturated Canary challenge card....another one for fun!!!

Yahhh ME!!!! LOVING the time I have to create just for fun!!!!  I am entering this card into the Saturated Canary Challenge - which is ANYTHING but Square or Rectangle.  I have used my Grand Calibur Nesties (Labels One) for the base of the card & the layers, and made a fun shaped card using a freebie image from a few weeks back.  You can check out the ADORABLE images HERE!

The CS is Melon Mambo (SU) and the DP is from my stash (an old TAC paper pad that has lost its cover!) I coloured her with Copics, used my flourish punch and some rhinestones.  Now that I look at it, I almost think it needs something else....but not really sure what?!~?!?!  Any suggestions??

A challenge card just for fun!!!

I had a little time today in between appointments so thought I'd peruse the challenge blogs and see what I can find and try to enter a couple.  I really liked the challenge at Cute Card Thursday (Winged Things) and I liked the sketch at Dutch Dare.....so I coloured up this adorable image from Emerald Faeries, and set to work!  I used some bits of scraps that I had from a previous project sitting on my desk. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive set, and the bling is from my stash! 

So, I'm entering this card into those 2 challenges, wish me luck!!!  I am thrilled to be able to make some cards just for fun!!!  And I was running low on Anniversary cards too, so this is perfect.

Winter blues.....challenge card

I was perusing the challenge blogs and one challenge in particular grabbed my attention - it was Tuesday Throwdown with Winter Blues - which I definitely have!  We've had a pretty mild winter so far, but I'm so ready for my capris and sandals!!!

So here is a card I made for my Brother in law's birthday last Saturday.  The image is from Kenny K and the sentiment is made on the computer.  I added a button and twine to keep it masculine! It unfortunately doesn't follow the challenge on Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge, but that's ok!!!  I had fun making it!  The CS is Brilliant Blue & Basic Black from SU.

This week, the DT are showcasing C.C Designs and The Greeting Farm stamps!  SUCH a great variety and they are SO cute!!!!

The CS is Tangerine Tango (SU) and the DP is from Basic Grey - Hopscotch
I have also used Prima flowers, and rhinestones from my stash.  I have coloured her with Copics as well.

Love to Create - Pink, Navy + 1 other colour

My "other" colour is the green branches.  I wanted to give it an "outdoorsy" feel, and the image is intended to look like a black & white polaroid...not sure I did it justice, but its kinda cute! I just hand wrote the sentiment as if someone would do that on a photo.

I have used paper from my scraps bin, so not even sure where they are from, although I'm pretty sure the DP is from SU.  The butterfly is my new EK Success BUTTERFLY LAYERING PUNCH that I got from Simon Says Stamp.  The other punch is from Martha Stewart.
