I have used Hip-Hippo-Ray Birthday, from Whimsy Stamps...isn't he sweet???
The sentiment is from a Gina K set I've had forever!!! I added crystal lacquer to the balloons and some Stardust gelly roll pen to the hat and noisemaker!

Cool Becca Boo

As you Like it is a brand new challenge blog, started by my blogger friends, Annette & Samantha! They are going to have really easy challenges and some great prizes...so I hope you will check it out & join in!!!

Their first challenge is PUNCHES or DIES so I am entering this card that I made ising Cool Becca Boo from The Stamping Chef.  I used 2 of my favourite punches - the Martha Stewart branch punch and the Star border punch.  The flowers are from my stash and the ribbon is SU.  I coloured her with Copics...isn't she cute????

I am also entering this into Charisma Cardz Challenge (black/white + 1 colour),  Crafty Ribbons (no Designer paper), Delightful Challenges (use your stash),  Dutch Dare (ribbons & lace), and lastly......Moving along with the times (CAS).

Dare to be SASSY Thursday - April Showers bring May flowers.....

Good morning everyone!!! I am on the ball this week...phewwww!!!! I thought I might get lynched if I wasn't careful!! LOL (kidding!!!) 

The challenge this week at DARE TO BE SASSY THURSDAYS is April Showers bring May flowers.....so lets see some flowers on your creation!!!!  April here in Calgary was SNOWY...not rainy at all....so Spring is taking its sweet ol' time to get here! We've had a few nice days, but nothing to write home about!!! LOL

I have used a new image from the Great Oz collection...isn't she purrrrfect???  Wish I had hair like that!!! LOL (oh and the body wouldn't be so bad either! LOL)   The paper is from a DCWV animal pack & the sentiment is from an old TAC set I have.

Dare to Be SASSY Thursday!!!!

Good morning everyone!!!  Sorry I'm so late with this...the week just got away from me & I didn't realize it was Thursday already!! YIKES!!!!!! 

The challenge this week at DARE TO BE SASSY THURSDAYS is Kentucky Derby aka HATS!  I have used Copper Christie...sexy eh? My hubby quite liked this one!!!!  I was actually inspired to make this card because of the little set of keys charm that I found in my stash!!!  The embossed brick wall is Tim Holtz (sizzix) and the sentiment is computer generated!!!

ABC Challenge - Photo Inspiration

This week at  ABC Christmas Challenge  our letter is  
I for Inspirational Photo

Isn't it gorgeous?? LOTS of choices here folks!!! No excuses!!! LOL

AND here is my card, using Ornament Mouse from Meljen's - our sponsor this week! I took my inspiration from the gorgeous silver and blue wreath in the bottom right corner...so pretty!!!! I used Bashful blue and some silver glitter paper, my snowflake embossing folder and some sheer (is that organza??) ribbon I had on my ribbon wall!!!

Here is my card I made for my student teacher on her last day!  She is officially a TEACHER now - so happy for her!!!  

One of our sponsors this week is Dr. Digi House of Stamps & I have used Brunnhilde.  

And the inside sentiment:

 AND this is the die cut of one of the shapes in the pattern.  The red swirly thing on the left side is also a die cut!  These both came with the paper...which is ..........either Kaiser or 7 Gypsies.....can't remember at the moment but will go find out after!  SORRY!!!  I coloured her with Copics then added crystal lacquer to her helmet, sword, shield and grey parts on her dress.

Sooooooooooooo, now on to my creation!!! I was given TIN SASSY to work with for this challenge & I used the top row of the board - Brick - Yellow - Ribbon! 

 

The Brick is a Tim Holtz embossing folder - done on Riding Hood Red.  The card base is Saffron (SU) and I used some silver glitter paper to mount the sentiment and the image.  Unfortunately, you can't see it well...but her entire suit and hat are covered in Crystal Lacquer to give it a shiny appearance like tin.....looks really cool IRL!  I found some silver ribbon and added some rhinestones.  Tin Sassy is coloured with copics.
