Love to Create challenge - Paper PIECING

Good morning everyone!!! Happy Monday!!!!!

                                          This week the LOVE TO CREATE Challenge is 

Paper PIECING - not piercing...PIECING!! LOL
 Everyone always gets these mixed up.....lol

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Chef, and I have used Jenna.  I paper pieced her jeans and her shirt.  The DP for her jeans and the card is from Tim Holtz's Vintage Shabby collection and her shirt is from a pack from Michael's.  The flowers and ribbon are from my stash! I have coloured Jenna with Copics.....attempting to improve my hair colouring....I think this one turned out ok....its really hard to visualize where the shadows go!!! BUT the Copic Colouring Guides that I bought from Amazon have been helping!  I'll keep at it!!!

Incy Wincy Designs - create a pocket card

    Good morning!!!!

I have used a couple images from Pink Gem Designs - the Pirate Ship set and Pirate Chloe.  It was so fun to manipulate the images to make the pirate ship exactly how I wanted it!! LOVE digi images for this very reason!!!!

I have used UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER (the sentiment comes with the image!!!) from our sponsor SATURATED CANARY.  I have  coloured her using Copics and At You Spica pens, crystal lacquer on her glasses and added some gold stars to bling it up. I've never been to an Ugly Christmas Sweater party - maybe I should have one next year?!?!?  Anyway, I hope this made you laugh a little bit!! LOL  Hope you like it!!!!

Incy Wincy Challenge - Butterflies &/or Bows

    Good morning!!!!

Lacy Sunshine is a new sponsor for us & I am thrilled to have her - her digis are TOO CUTE!!!! I'm right smack in the middle of "progress report" time, so not sure I will have a chance to make a card with one of the images I have, but I will try!!!!  But DO have a peek at her shop....cute cute cute!!!!

I made this card using a Saturated Canary image called  Muriel.  I made this for a colleague that is leaving us at the end of this school year.  I have coloured her with Copics and added some stickles to the flowers (I think they were supposed to be 3 leaf clovers....shhhhhh)

 

Ok, I DID have time to squeek a card in using Maddie & Clover Groovy Hippie Music from Lacy Sunshine, but now that I've rushed to take a picture of it, I remembered I wasn't really done...lol...oops! But.... no time to redo, so let's play a game of PRETEND:  Pretend my bow isn't wonky, Pretend I chalked the green grass,  and Pretend the sentiment on the top says "Have a GROOVY birthday"....if you can do those 3 things, I will feel better about posting this card! LOL Thanks!!

a cute kitty farewell card....

Hello and Happy Friday!!!!

I have made another card to showcase the ADORABLE images at 2 Cute Ink.  This is for a colleague who is leaving us at the end of this school year, and she is very artsy!  So, this is Kitty Paint Brush, which is perfect for her!!!!

I have coloured with Copics and added some stickles to the paint brush & splatter.  The sentiment is computer generated - I have yet to find good "farewell" sentiments anywhere!!!The green CS is CoreDinations - although I didn't distress it like it should be....I just liked the bright shade of green!!!!

DARE to be SASSY Thursday!!!! Celebrate the June Bride!!!!

Hi everyone...the theme this week for DARE TO BE SASSY THURSDAY is JUNE BRIDE!!! So lets see your creations for the bride, bride & groom, anniversary, bachelorette party, wedding shower, etc. 

I have used  HOLIDAY BRIDE    I changed her to wear a lilac dress with little purple flowers, so she wasn't a "Christmas" bride.... I think she turned out well.....this just shows you that most digi images are VERY VERSATILE!!!!       

I have coloured her with Copics!  I added a line of Sakura Stardust pen to her shawl and the flowers on her dress.  The light purple paper is actually shimmery, although you can't really see it.   The little flowers, pearls and ribbon are from my stash!

ABC Christmas Challenge - K for Keep it Safe!! HALF WAY REMINDER!!!!

Hi everyone! Here is my card for the ABC Christmas challenge 1/2 way reminder!! You have 1 week left to enter into our K for Keep it Safe challenge!!!! I didn't make one for last week because it was a VERY HAIRY TIME at work, so I took my time and coloured this great image from Kenny K (Reindeer Trio) and made a card for this week!!!  Coloured using Copics and At You Spica pens, crystal lacquer on their sunglasses and added some gold, silver and red string.  My KEPT item, the one I hid so I wouldn't use it (honestly, I DID!!!) was the vintage Christmas paper from Magnolia. Magnolia has such gorgeous paper, it is a nice thick paper and they have come up with some really great designs!!!  BUT alas, I cut into it! Sniff, sniff!!!! LOL

Anyway, here is my card!!!  Hope you like it!!!!

Incy Wincy Designs......SPRING is in the air!!!! (FINALLY!!!)

    Good morning!!!!  Happy RAINY Monday!!!

Yes, AGAIN!!!! IT has been raining pretty much non stop for 2 weeks.  I think we had 2 days without rain! I'm going to need to build myself a canoe soon!!!!

SPRING is in the air

 

This week we have 2 sponsors - Doodle Pantry and Digi Stamp characters by Heather Ellis.  I have somehow found the time to make 2 cards (its called procrastination...I SHOULD be working on my report cards!!! LOL)

This first card is from Doodle Pantry - using Pansy Turtle
I've coloured with copics and popped the image up on some springy paper.  The 3D butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch & I added some yellow liquid pearls to the center. 

My second card is using a Pure Innocence image from Digi Stamp Characters by Heather Ellis.
I have chalked the sky and grass and coloured her with copics and at you spica pens. This is Pure Innocence 007
