Doodle Dragon Studios entry...

I am entering this card into the Dustin Pike challenge - which is primary colours.  I chose BLUE as my primary colour, so I hope this qualifies!!!  The DP is from an outdoor/camping paper pad I got from Michael's - it might be DCWV or Recollections, but I can't remember!  I have coloured with copics, added stickles to the fire to make it flickery .... and liquid applique to the marshmallows to make them puffy.

Challenge entry........

Hi everyone! I had some time to play and decided to enter this into a couple challenges:

1.  Celebrate the Occasion - Happy Birthday (this card is for my friends daughter who just turned ...you guessed it, 16!!!)

2. Jackson's Digital Expressions - Anything Goes with a colour twist (I used the reds in the photo as my inspiration)

3.  Oldie but a Goodie Challenge - Flower Power (the "old" item is the image, I've had for SEVERAL years & never used her... and my Cricut!)

4. Party Time Tuesdays - Let's get punchy (the flower punch & the cricut die cuts if those count!!!)

5. Addicted to Stamps Challenge - card for someone special (my friend's daughter)

Sooooooooooooo......that's all the challenges for this one!!!!

The CS is real red and the DP is Kraft by Basic Grey.  I cut out her name & age with my cricut (I really MUST use it more often!).  The flowers are EK Success punches that I adore & the red pearls are from Kaiser Craft.

I have used EFFIE TRINKET - I read all of the Hunger Games trilogy in about 2 weeks, and LOVED the movie.  The people in the Capitol had bright cloloured hair and clothing so I immediately thought of Effie when this challenge came up!   I added stickles to her flower and computer generated the sentiment.  The flowers are from my stash - I hand coloured the pink and yellow flowers to match the photo colours!!!

I have used DOTTIE WONDER WOMAN for my card and as I was making it I was humming the theme song from Wonder Woman - I used to watch that show ALL the time as a kid! The stars are a Creative Memories punch and I just added stickles to the outside to give them some bling!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - PATRIOTISM

HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!!

This week the Incy Wincy Design team has a GREAT challenge for you.  We want you to show your PATRIOTISM!!!!  Since yesterday was CANADA DAY and July 4th is Independence Day......what better way to show our love of our country?!?!?!  You can use your countries colours, items for your countries, symbols of your country, etc.  The options are ENDLESS but be sure to POST which country you are from!!!!!  AND have fun with it!!!!

I used WENDY - isn't she cute?? I just love her little puppy!!!! The CS is Real Red (SU) and the bakers twine and buttons are from my stash.  I have coloured her with Copics and added stickles to their bows.

I am entering this card in the "IT must be the MUSIC" challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz blog.

This image - Lady Victoria - was inspired by "My Immortal" by Evanescence.  I think this girl looks like Amy Lee, and it is one of my favourite songs!   I have coloured her with Copics & AT you Spica pens.  When I showed Tim this image & asked him what song he thought of, he said "Bow, chicka, bow bow"  (LOL) What a dirty dog eh????

The CS is Hero Arts layering paper and the flowers, ribbon & rhinestones are from my stash. The CS is from My Minds Eye - a beautiful life paper pack.

Sassy Studio challenge entry......

Well, I must say I LOVE rainy Sundays!!!!  I got to play in a couple challenges that I haven't in a long time! This weeks challenge at DARE TO BE SASSY is monochromatic yellow!!!

So I printed up Flapper Femme, from Sassy Studios  and set to work with all sorts of shades of yellow!!!! Monochromatic cards ARE my favourite, I try to get out of that "box" but I love them!!!!!  And when I'm told too, how can I resist???? I'm not crazy about her hair colour, but I love her yellow flapper dress!!!!  What an era - I would have loved to have lived then!!!  How fun!!!!

I coloured her with Copics and used a yellow crochet flower that I bought from Etsy awhile ago.  The ribbon is from my stash!  The CS is Bazzill and the DP is ???????????  (Guess is as good as mine!!! LOL)

I am also entering this in the Totally Gorjuss challenge which is Something Yellow! (thanks for the heads up Samantha!!!)

I have used FERGUS with bouquet from Wild Rose Studio.  I got this stamp from Care2Stamp, so be sure to check it out! Tell Kim I sent you!!!!!   

The CS is Taken with Teal (SU) and the DP is from a card kit I have had for EONS (I THINK it is My Minds Eye but not 100% sure!)  I thought I'd make a more masculine card in case I ever need one!!!  I have coloured him with Copics.  I am experimenting with outlining my images with grey to stand them out a bit...not sure if I'm doing it right, or if it looks how it is supposed to look, but I'm trying! Any pointers????
