Hello everyone! Happy Friday!!!

Anyway....today is another NEW RELEASE from 2Cute Ink.....this one is called PUPPY LOVE...is he not the cutest thing ever???  I just love the little mouse on his head!! Too cute!!!

I have coloured him with Copics.  The DP is from a PET paper pack I've had for about 3 years,  I got it at Michaels.   The sentiment is one I've had FOREVER...but I thought it fit so perfectly with the paper (which was done TOTALLY by fluke!!!)

ABC Christmas Challenge - C is for CASE one of the DT cards from last year

This week at  ABC Christmas Challenge  our letter is C.

We would like you to peruse challenges from 2012 and find one of the DT cards that you like and CASE IT!!! That means, copy it, with your own interpretation of course, but make it similar - similar style, layout, images, colour......and be sure to link your CASEd card in your blog post so we can see!!!!   HERE is a forum thread about it.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Saturated Canary!!! YAHOOO!!!! Gosh I love Krista's images!!! I have used Tammy Pie and took some creative licensing with this image!  I'm not sure what I was thinking when I ordered her for a CHRISTMAS challenge......duhhh!!! SO, I coloured & cut out a prezzie, popped it on top of the pile of books and paper pieced a "Christmas" balloon!!!  I added some crystal lacquer to the balloon too, for texture!  I HOPE you like what I did with her!

Love to Create BIRTHDAY BASH!!!!

Good morning everyone!!! Happy Monday!!!!!

  This week the LOVE TO CREATE Challenge is our 1st year BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!!

  We have a TON of sponsors this week, and each of the DT were given one sponsor to represent! How fun!!! I got Dr. Digi...SO EXCITED!!!! LOVE his images!!!!   Check out the list of sponsors and the rest of the DTs creations on the challenge blog!   

Here is my card using  ANGLIN' ANDY! Isn't he adorable? I love his big bulbous nose!  The papers are from an outdoor pack - I think from K&C Company or Recollections....not sure but I DID get it at Michaels.  The sentiment is from a really old SU set, but I cut out each word so it fit where I wanted it to fit! Andy is coloured with Copics and some crystal lacquer was added to his glasses.  I added a bit of magic mesh, chalked in some clouds and some dirt........ and there you have the rugged fisherman!!! PERFECT for that fisher dude in your life!!! (And I have a FEW!!! LOL) 

WHAT?!?!?! I even decorated the INSIDE!!!!! (what a rarity, but it IS a special occasion!!!)

 

I really hope you will join us this week...it IS a very special occasion and I am truly honoured to say I was there at the beginning of it all! This year went by FAST but it was a fun one, filled with lots of great sponsors and great cards!!!!  I am SO looking forward to the next  year!!!!!  I LOVE TO CREATE!!!!  (tee hee)

I have used Dudley from the Valentine Trio

The DP is from a Martha Stewart pack I bought 2 or 3 years ago...finally getting down to the last 3 or 4 sheets!!!  The CS is Riding Hood Red (SU) and the pearls are from Kaiser.  Dudley is coloured with Copics and stickles were added to the heart.

This post is in honour of a very talented lady....

Sadly, the crafting world has said goodbye to a very sweet, very gracious and very talented lady!  Jacqui, the owner and illustrator from Digi Garden passed away last week, and it was a shock to me and the rest of the DT.  We all knew from her posts that she was ill, but never did we think it would end up this way. It was a very sad day for everyone, and I wanted to pay tribute to such a talented lady who will be missed greatly.
 
God has taken another angel for himself. 
Rest in Peace, my friend!

2 Cute Ink NEW RELEASE day!!!!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!!! ANOTHER crazy busy week comes to an end, and the start of a crazy busy weekend! OY!!!!!!

Anyway....today is another NEW RELEASE from 2Cute Ink.....this one is called SQUIRREL PRESENT...is she not the cutest thing ever???  I just love her little smile!!! Too cute!!!

I have coloured her with Copics.  The DP is from a MS paper pack I've had for about 3 years, and to my dismay...I realized it is the only Valentines/Love paper that I have...I might have to remedy that this weekend! LOL   The sentiment is computer generated! The heart edge punch is from EK Success.

ABC Christmas challenge - 1/2 way reminder

 Hi everyone! Here is my card for the ABC Christmas challenge 1/2 way reminder!! You have 1 week left to enter into our B Challenge - BOYS or BOWS!  Last week I did a BOYS card, so this week I tried my hardest to make a nice BOW! I suck at bows! I even bought that bow maker thingy....no idea how to use it properly!! LOL

I have totally CASE's my fellow teamie LOLS....I just loved the layout she used last week and it fit perfect with Starry Night from Wild Rose Studios. The paper I used is from my stash....but for some reason I THINK it is Basic Grey...but I could be totally wrong...I have TOO much paper!!! LOL  I even used some of my SU Magic Mesh that I've had for about 5 years! LOL  The white 3D paint is from Michaels, and I have coloured them with Copics.

 I have used PARADE from Saturated Canary, and have coloured it with  Copics.  My lace doily is hiding under the huge yellow & orange flowers! I wanted this card to be bright and beautiful!  The DP in the background is from Echo Park.  The flowers, leaves, pearls, button and ribbon are all from my stash!

2 Cute Ink - NEW RELEASE!!!!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!!! ANOTHER crazy busy week comes to an end, and the start of a crazy busy weekend! OY!!!!!!

Anyway....today is another NEW RELEASE from 2Cute Ink.....this one is called SWEET LADYBUG...is she not the cutest thing ever???  I have made a corner bookmark for my friends daughter who LOVES ladybugs!!! You can find the tutorial I used HERE - which seems to be the easiest of the ones I looked at first!

I have coloured her with Copics.  The polka dot paper is from my stash but I think its from Recollections.  The sentiment is from a realllyyyy old Stampin Up set I've had forever!
