I made this card for my 13 year old nephew. I got the images from SCS Wish RAK (Thanks Tina!!) and they came at the most PERFECT time!! I went to watch one of my nephew's play off games last weekend and he got TWO penalties!! He is the smallest kid on the team & the big guys always pick on him! He is an amazing hockey player & he will go far with it because he is so small and FAST!!! Anyways, when I opened the envelope and saw these images I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them!!! The card base is basic black (SU) & I added white stripes to look like a referee shirt. I layered the image on black as well. I coloured the image with my SU Pastels - I used a few different colours on the penalty box because they are always dirty and gross!! I added a black brad to resemble a hockey puck at the bottom. The image is from a new line by the same lady who draws the House Mouse and Happy Hoppers - they are called GRUFFIES!!! Cute eh??? I did seal the image when I was finished with a Krylon sealant spray so the chalks didn't smudge.

Oh my gosh! My son used to play hockey and I could NEVER believe it when he received a penalty!! LOL! This card is way too cute and it really took me back!

This image is just adorable. Aren't the gruffies cute?! They have so much detail!! I just love them. I haven't played with mine much either only made the one card, but I hope to get caught up with swaps and be able to send some wishes out soon, too!! :) Kelly
