OMG!!! I'm so frustrated!!

ARGHHH!!!!! I have to vent......bear with me!!! LOL In Nov. we bought a wireless network system from Best Buy & included in that cost was for Geek Squad to come to our house and secure our internet connections with this and my laptop. All was fine and dandy - we THOUGHT - until Tim's buddy came over, opened his laptop and voila, instantly connected to OUR "secure" internet connection! HMMMM!!!! Anyways, I just got off the phone with Geek Squad and ...well, let me tell you....what a friggin GONG SHOW that place is. She said the reason it was not secure is that we had an old network card (whatever that means!) and says that "buddy" who came out to secure our system told us that....NO HE DID NOT!!!! If he had, why wouldn't we have bought a new one right away?? Duhhh!! I don't want others freeloading off our internet connection that we pay good money for!!! ARGHHHH!!!! I said we paid $160 for a service we didn't even get....I either want my money back or I want a secure connection. She was an IDIOT!!!! I was in fine form raising my voice & getting madder and madder by the second. All she said we can do is go to Best Buy and talk to them - so basically she is passing the buck so she doesn't have to deal with it. I am so heated up right now I could SCREAM!!! Oh, wait....I did that already. I told her I would never use their service again & I will NOT recommend them to ANY of my friends! So, friends, DON'T use GEEK SQUAD!!!!! They don't guarantee their service and they steal your money!!! BASTARDS!!!! (sorry!)

I love a good rant and that was a fine one. :) It's always good to vent. Yep, secure wireless connections are not as easy as it seems. Hope you can get it figured out. Good luck!

ITS HARD TO FIND GOOD HELP...LOL I THINK ALL COMPANYS THESE DAYS ARE ALL THE SAME,NICE AS PIE FOR THE BIG HARD SELL & WONDERFUL WHEN YOUR PURCHASING THEN WHEN IT NEEDS FIXING THEY RUN AND HIDE!

exactly the reson why best buy gets no more of my money-I had to report them to my state attorney general and I was awarded cash-but they sent it to me as a gift card for the store-I bought the first Ipod that came out and never went back. screw them-and CompUSA was just as bad. Go on the internet and do a search or buy a book and do it yourself. much easier.

In this day and age good service can be hard to find. I've heard horrible things about Best Buy and I will never buy there! And now I'll be sure to add GEEK Squad to my list!! Sorry you have to deal with such a frustrating situation!! Good luck getting it figured out!!
