Magnolia recipe swap & a birthday card

Tim & I were supposed to go camping this weekend, but Tim got a sinus infection so here we sit - at home! Actually it was a blessing in disguise cuz it was COLDDDDD out all weekend!! BRRRRR!!!! I spent a lot of time in my craft cave trying to get some stuff done on my TO DO list. I finished up all 4 of the Feb. calendars for a Magnolia calendar swap - still have April and July to do, but at least one month is done!!! I finished up my Recipe Cards for the Magnolia Recipe swap. Here is the one I did. The recipe is Pumpkin Squares - sooo yummy. I used my new Tilda holding a pumpkin, and the pumpkins and gourds from Autumn Harvest (SU - retired). The paper is Pumpkin Pie and Autumn Vine (DP). I coloured the pumpkins and Tilda with my Copic markers - I am DETERMINED to master these damn markers. It was a lot of colouring - 24 pumpkins, 12 gourds, and 6 Tildas. I can't wait to see what the rest of the girls do with their recipe cards!!!
My friend Tracey's birthday is this Sat. so I made her this card. The base is Pretty in Pink, then I layered it with Purely Pomegranate DP, cardstock, more pink paper, then a dark pink oval cut with my Nesties. This card has 7 layers....holy schmoley!!! I coloured her with SU markers because it was an image someone gave me, and I didn't know what kind of ink it was, so I didn't want to use my copics. And my koh-i-noor pencils are still packed for camping (guess I should go unpack everything eh??)

I am off to my sisters for Thanksgiving Dinner in about an hour, I can't wait!!! MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm!!!!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my Canadian readers!!!
