Woooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooo

Ok ladies, I have no card to show you today but I do have some AMAZING news I can share now!!!! Nicole, owner of Inky Impressions has chosen little ol' ME to be her Senior Design Team Leader!!! I AM SO THRILLED I almost peed my pants!!!! LOL Nicole has worked so hard getting her company up and running and it is SOOOO close!!!! Her & I have chatted quite a bit over the last 2 months and I have such great respect for this woman!!! Amazing!!!! I really hope that I will make her and the DT proud - since I've never done this before!!!

For starters, I have set up a Yahoo Group for Inky Impressions. PLEASE come and join the group (link is on my side bar) and keep on top of the new releases, challenges, activities and FUN!!!!

Also, the Inky Impressions banner on the side bar links you directly to the challenge blog. Once the store is live, I will have another banner that will take you right there so you can own your own LiLis and Angelicas!!!! AND you will want to cuz, BOY are they CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to describe them to you - the eyes are gorgeous and the facial expressions on the little girls are priceless!!!!

So, stay tuned for the release of the brand new INKY IMPRESSIONS rubber stamps!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

Money holder card

This is Ian, a Greeting Farm stamp in a set called Dress Me. He has lots of different outfits to wear and so does Anya (his sister, or girlfriend?!??!! I don't know the story of those two!!!) LOL Very cute though! The Aunts and Uncles are all giving my 15 year old nephew some money for his birthday, so I made a money holder card.

Whoa - sorry about the blurriness.....so strange!! I was trying out a new spot to take pictures this morning but it didn't seem to help! I blocked out the names on the card, just in case!!! The paper sticking out is supposed to represent $$$ cuz I didn't have any in my wallet!! LOL (thank God for Debit cards!!!)

I couldn't find a template for a card like this (I KNOW they are out there though!) so I had to concoct my own!!!! The dimensions for my card are 8.25 x 8, scored at 2.75, 3 and 6. I folded the one flap over and attached it with a small piece of Velcro. The DP is 7.75 x 2.25 and 7.75 x 2.5 (if desired - you could stamp right on the cardstock if you wanted!) That was it...very simple!!!

OMG, sooooo awesome!!!! I just discovered him and he has SO many cute images - lots of boy-type ones - dragons, bears, dinosaurs,etc. You REALLY have to check him out. His blog is here (he has free images on Wed.) and he has an Etsy store too. Please do check him out!!!

I am really pleased with how this card turned out! I was just winging it, no layout in mind, and this is what happened! I like it!!! I tried the technique from My Favourite Things to work "out of the box", so I have the end of the sword sticking out of the image box. The sentiment is from the Doodle Factory fairy tale set. I added crystal effects on the sword and shield - I'm sorry you can't really see the dimension. Tim stole my lamp that I use to take photos so he could rebuild his RC truck! MEN!!!! LOL

This is BooBoo dragon - hilarious eh? I really wanted him to be the focal point so I kept the layout really simple. I popped him out too. I think he is adorable even with all the boo boos!!!!

A couple CUTE girls

I received this Tilda image, the 2 papers, the ribbon, primas and brads in a Tilda card kit swap on SCS awhile ago. I am just finally getting to the pile to create cards with them!!! I LOVE this paper, I wish I knew who made it! It is shimmery and thin, almost metallic like!!! Sooo pretty!!!!!

Another Hanglar & Stanglar card - told ya I was on a role!!! LOL Isn't this little girl SO adorable, getting ready to hang out in her garden?!?!? I used the papers from the card kit swap above - I couldn't let it go to waste cuz it is so awesome!!!!
