Karen's Doodles USA Challenge card.....

This week the challenge at Karen's Doodles USA Challenge blog is a sketch. Here it is! I think this sketch works great with Karen's images...it really showcases them!!! LOVE it!!!!!

And here is my card:

It is for my nephew who is having his Confirmation at the beginning of May, so Karen's Confirmation set was PERFECT!!!! You get 5 digi images (3 girls, 2 boys) for only $12! GREAT deal!!!! I also bought the Holy Communion set because many of my students have their First Communion this year so I thought I would make them each a bookmark using the images!
I am also going to use these images for the invitations to the Sacramental Lunch the school puts on for all the students who have had a sacrament in the last year!!!

The card base is black, with a Brilliant Blue layer. The Cross (Verve Stamps) was stamped on black with gold ink. I tried to cover it with Crystal Effects but it looked stupid....so this is the THIRD cross I stamped and cut out..ugh!!! LOL I am really happy with how it turned out, it is simple but perfect for a 10 year old boy!!! Inside it says "May God bless you on your special day" (SU) I coloured the boy with Copics and it took me a long time to get the hair colour right! It is still a bit too blonde for Brody, but that's ok, I am SURE he won't notice!!!!
Thanks for popping in!!! Wish me luck!!!!
Chris
