So, I set out on a task that was SO out of my box, but I've seen it done and loved the effect so thought, what the heck?!?! I coloured the image using my Copics (C0-C10) and I quite like the way it turned out!! Yeahhh me!!! I found some scraps of black and grey papers and made a funky layout, then set out to find the perfect sentiment.
I searched for HOURS looking for the perfect sentiment/movie quote..but nothing jumped out at me! So, I settled for this quote, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears (and this one is on with removable tape so it's ALL good!!)!!!! I added the Tim Holtz filmstrip ribbon too, to add the final touch of "vintage movie".
So? What do you think?? Any suggestions for a different sentiment?? I don't watch a lot of old black & white movies, so I'm really stumped!!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT weekend!!!
Chris

Beautiful card, Chris!!! I love the black and white effect and you did an awesome job with it! LOVE the film strip too! I'll have to grab this image from Kenny K! Ok, now for suggestions for sentiments. My first one is on the same line as Stephanie's:
Our love is timeless
An Affair to Remember
It's a Wonderful Life
Miracle on _____ Street (add whatever street you live on)
Somewhere in Time
Love is a many Splendored Thing
When I look in your eyes, I hear the sound of music
The Miracle Worker
Hope I've come up with something you like. :) Have a great day!
hugs, Sharon

Wonderful card, Chris. It is not a black and white movie but how about "You had me at Hello!" from Jerry McGuire.
Great card! I like one mentioned already, "An affair to remember", & since I am still in love with Robert Redford (lol) I also like,
The Way We Were.
Hugs, Pat
