 I have used CC Designs - Pixie Lucy and the mushroom from CC Designs as well and masked her on top of it.  I have coloured her with Copics and added stickles to her wings.  The CS is   Hero Arts layering paper - Pool  and Riding Hood Red (SU).  The DP is My Minds Eye - Dolled Up.

STamping Sisters in Christ entry

Good morning!!! This week at Stamping Sisters in Christ, the challenge is to use an image of something that was planted.  This week the scripture they chose really popped out at me, as this is the exact one I was discussing with my students last week - talking about new life and how we are connected to Jesus like a flower is connected to its roots.  They ended up drawing some really cool pictures to go with this scripture. 

"[Those who trust in the Lord] shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8

Here is my card that I'm entering into this challenge:  

 This is Fergus with Tulips from Wild Rose Studio. I got him at Care2Stamp, a new online store based out of Canada! IF you go there  & check it out, tell Kim that I sent you!!!! The CS is Real Red (SU) and the DP is from Magnolia's Fairytale collection (pink roses)
I have added little red tulips and some paper leaves from my stash...the tulips are from my stash (I THINK I got them from Michaels a lonnnngggg time ago and of course I forgot I had them!)

 The CS is Lavender Lace (SU). I bought the flower from an Etsy shop awhile ago, and the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from my friend Annette at Netty's Cards.  I coloured in the flowers with my SU markers so it matched the paper.

Another Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge entry .....

 This card is being entered into the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge blog for their PASTELS challenge this week.   The colours on the DP are pastels but I added red to her dress to make it pop off the white....I hope that counts!!!!

This one is for my other niece Hailey who is celebrating her First Communion!  I've been busy making religious cards this week!! PHEW!!!!

  If you didn't see the card I made on Tuesday for my other niece, the little charm is a bible & it opens...too cute eh? AND the inside says "on your First Communion Day".
The card base is white and the DP is from my stash (I THINK it is My Minds Eye, but don't quote me on that!!! LOL)

Simon Says.......Anything Goes!!!!

This week, our challenge for you is  ANYTHING GOES!!!!

ALSO, this week, the DT are showcasing PAPER SMOOCHES stamps from the store!  LOTS of amazing stamp sets to choose from, so go take a peek!!!!


Here is my card for this week:

 I have made a side stair step card (I think that is what they are called!!!)

I have used PERKY PLANTS stamp set, so cute! Kim Hughes, the designer of these stamps gave the DT an entire stamp set to use...so generous!!! They are great stamps, very cute & ink very well.

The CS is Green Galore (SU) and the DP is from My Minds Eye - DOLLED UP paper pad. I have coloured them all with Copics, added some stickles to some of them AND have popped out all the flowers....which means I cut them allllllll out TWICE!! YIKES!!!!  But I like the look of it with this type of card, so I'm glad I did!!! LOL

Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge entry......

 I am trying REALLY hard to enter more challenges, but sometimes I forget to enter after I've made them....oops!!! This card is being entered into the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge blog for their PASTELS challenge this week.

This card is for my niece who is celebrating her Confirmation on Friday.  The little charm is a bible & it opens...too cute eh? I wish I had taken a pic of it open, sorry!  AND the inside it says "May God Bless you today and always". 

The card base is white and the lavender cardstock is from SU.  I ran the one piece through my Cuttlebug with the SCRIPT folder.  I thought for sure Darby would wear a purple dress since that is her favourite colour, but she told me yesterday that she is wearing a blue dress....oops! Oh well!! LOL
