ABC Christmas Challenge entry

Hello everyone! This week at ABC Christmas challenge, they are wanting a KEEP IT SIMPLE card..... so I am entering this Riley card.  The CS is Kraft & red and the ribbon is from my stash (American Crafts, I think!)  The "snow" is 3D paint from Michaels & I coloured Riley with Copics.  The sentiment is from an old set, I can picture it but have NO idea which company!!!

I have used  Penny Black - Tiny Wishes and have coloured it with chalks from Pebbles Inc. and Copics.   The CS is Hero Arts Layering Paper - POWDER, and the DP is Lily Bee - Double Dutch.    I have used   American Tag Hemp Twine - natural

Entering a couple challenges....

I am entering this card into the Anything Goes Challenge - which is Anniversary.  This card will be for my hubby for our Anniversary!!!

Top Tip Tuesday challenge is DIG OUT The OLD - and let me tell you, this is OLD!!!  This card is made from a Basic Grey card kit that I bought in 2009...yup, you read that right...2009!!!! YIKES!!! It was sitting on a shelf collecting dust!! OOPS!!!! LOL  

I am also entering this into Deep Ocean Challenge Blog (a new one for me here!) - which is SWIRLS.

AND, lastly, I am entering this into Jackson's Digital Expressions (another new challenge blog I found!) - which is Anything Goes + Tim Holtz.  The distress ink and the key are from Tim Holtz.

I am totally, completely, utterly hopeless when it comes to Vintage...I can't do it, I TRY, I search blogs, I copy some and they NEVER seem to look vintagey!  A little distressing, some brown paper, a doiley or lace...does that constitute vintage??? I dunno, but I sure try & I hope you don't hate me for it! LOL

I have used  Graduation Diploma  and Graduation Edwin , both from Magnolia
 
The CS is Brilliant Blue (SU) and the DP is from Basic Grey - pretty sure! BUT don't quote me on that one!!!  I coloured Edwin with Copics and used some black & blue ribbon from my stash.  The 2012 is from some table confetti from Michael's.

Karen's Doodles challenge - STITCH it up!!!

Hello! I hope you are enjoying the bi-weekly challenges..... LOTS of time to create with Karen's gorgeous images!!!!!

This week's challenge at Karen's Doodles is 

to STITCH IT UP!!!

I have used  Bassett Girl    Cute eh??
The CS is Tangerine Tango and the DP is from Basic Grey but I can't remember which pack I got it from (a sure sign you have TOO much paper!!!!)  The flowers  and metal dots are from my stash.  I have coloured her using Copics.  The stitching was done with my We R Memory Keepers SEW EASY set.  I like it, it is easy but time consuming!  I should use it more because I really like the look of this particular stitch!

Critter Sketch Challenge blog entry

Hello everyone! Happy LONG weekend!!!!  We intentionally decided to stay home this weekend so we could get stuff done around the house, get the trailer ready for camping and just RELAX!I haven't had much play time in my craft room so I wanted to do that too!!!!

I found a cute challenge blog called Critter Sketch Challenge & this weeks challenge is FLOWERS.  So I used Donna & Donny Love from The Stamp Fairy for an Anniversary card.  The sentiment is from my good pal Annette at NETTY'S CARDS.  She has lots of GREAT freebie sentiments and INCREDIBLE cards, so go check her blog out!!!!
