Image holder cards

I got this idea from Lilian & Sue, 2 amazing ladies from Tilda & Friends yahoo group. I believe Lilian said she got the idea from Katharina's blog - so she should get credit for this project too!!! They both sent me some images in a similar card like this. So, I decided to make my own!! The dimensions are 10 x 7 3/4; score at 5" in the middle and 2 1/2 from the bottom. I cut the middle of the flap and both sides at an angle then adhered them to the edge of the card. These make great pockets to hold images that you send to people!!! I used my SU slit punch to make the holes for the ribbon. The plaid paper is from a big stack I got years ago from Costco. I used Dala Tilda & coloured her using pencil crayons and gamsol (OMS). I drew the "wall" she is sitting on.
Use the ribbon to tie it closed and VOILA!!! It was EASY!!!

What a great idea! I've made card holders that are similar to this but never considered them for holding images! How cute!

What a terrific idea for our SBS image swap! :) I have made these at Christmas time for my Mom and SILs cards. I would have never thought to do the same for images. Thanks for the idea, Chris. Yours is adorable by the way. I just love all of those images! :) Still have to color mine.
