I made these little sewing kits to sell at the Christmas Craft Market. I got the pill bottles from the pharmacy, and the sewing essentials from the Dollar Store. Inside there are 2 spools of thread, a little tube of needles, safety pins, buttons, snaps, a needle threader, straight pins, and a measuring tape. I attached the mini scissors to the outside with ribbon. I stamped little flowers on the outside of the bottle with Staz-On ink, attached a topper (says "You're "sew" sweet") and .... VOILA...instant stocking stuffer!!!
These are great for in your car, your purse, trailer, desk at work......anywhere! They sold really well last year, so I'm going to make lots of these & sell them for $2. Tim thinks I should sell them for more, what do YOU all think??? $3???

OMG definitely more, they are gorgeous little things, I mean $2 is nothing! I would ask for $5 definitely or $4 if you find its not selling as quick as you'd like, but I don't think you're going to have any trouble in that quarter.

these are adorable!! where ever do you get all these great ideas...and the time to make them all??!!! I would say 4 or 5 dollars would sell them. They will go like hotcakes if you leave them at 3.

Great idea Chris. I think you have come up with really wonderful things for your fair. I wish you the best with it!
Very cute Chris, great idea. I have no idea what to price them for, but $2 does sound cheap.

oh my gosh - soooo clever adn sooooo cute! at least double your costs of supplies. I may have to "borrow" this idea since I don't think we'll be competing for customers between Canada and Kansas. LOL! good luck!
