A Chilly Walk!!

On Tuesday, Tim, Brick & I went for a walk along the canal that runs through the south part of Calgary. It had been pretty much drained out for the winter, but it is still a really nice walk. Brick LOVES it!!!! Here is a pic of me and Brick that Tim took with his phone.

I got my HUGE order of High Hopes stamps yesterday so I was busy sorting them and smelling them, and didn't get any cards made!!! LOL Don't you just LOVE the smell of fresh rubbah???? Ok, I know I'm weird!!!! LOL Hoping to create tonight - if this cold doesn't send me to bed early!!! GRRRRR!!!!!! The joys of being a teacher - you get every germ that walks through the doors!!!!

Geisha Cat and a couple more Magnolia cards...

I forgot I had taken pics of these ones before I mailed them out, so here are a few more that I made sometime in the last 3 weeks!!! LOL This one I actually made today for my friend Karen. Her birthday is this Friday, so I thought I better get on it!!! I used Black and Real Red cardstock, black brads, my sakura gelly stardust pen and some stickles. I coloured the cat with my copic markers. The background stamp is from Stampendous called Friend Character (Asian characters with the word friend underneath) - not sure if you can see it well enough! The cat image is from Pink Cat Studio. I forgot how much I loved these stamps - I really should use them more often!! They are soooo cute!!! Inside the card it says "Have a PURRRRFECT day".

Paper: Wild Wasabi, unknown DP; Ink: copic markers, Wild Wasabi; Stamps: Magnolia (Tilda under Fall leaf), So Many Scallops (SU); Accessories: green glitter dots from Gina K's store, green pearl brad from PaperWorks Co.; white gel pen, stickles.

Paper: A Muse card base (sent to me from Glenda - thanks!!!); Really Rust; Ink: copic markers, black; Stamps: Magnolia (Tilda with sunflower), TAC sentiment; Accessories & tools: Heidi Swapp edge distresser; ribbon from my stash, stickles
