Graduation cards

A lady at work wanted me to make her 4 Grad cards & I had to get them done by next week....so I was holed up in my craft room last night making these. I used my new Magnolia Graduation collection stamps. I coloured them all with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol. I wanted them all to be different because they were for her students in the same class, so here they are:

Simon Says.....sending summer flowers (& a very happy birthday to the Simon Says Stamp blog!)

This is challenge #9 over at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog! WOW, time flies!!!! So the challenge is a double one again - to make a birthday card in honour of Simon Says Stamp blog turning ONE YEARS OLD, and Sending Summer Flowers!

Here is my card for this challenge. I used Tilda holding a bee from the Chasing Butterflies collection, but traded the bee for a pretty daisy!

The paper I used is Tempting Turquoise & Purely Pomegranate (SU) and the DP is from CTMH. I had this huge turquoise flower so I just folded it in half and had Tilda sit on it. I added primas and sugar coated brads from Doodlebug, and a Happy Birthday sentiment (sorry it is hard to see, the shadow from the flower is covering it...oops)

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you will join us in this challenge and make a birthday card filled with flowers!!!! Head over the the CHALLENGE BLOG and see what the other Design Team members have for you to see!!!!

Don't forget, if you enter, you can win a $25 shopping spree at Simon Says Stamp, courtesy of Heidi!!
Have a great week!!!

Inky Impression Design Team challenge #2

It is already week #2 of the Inky Impressions Design Team challenges! We decided to do these challenges amongst ourselves until YOU all had some of these cuties in your inky little hands so you can join us! IF you already have some, PLEASE feel free to join in on the challenges, and link us to your card in the comment section! We would LOVE to see what you do with these girls!!! If you don't have yours YET, you better head on over to INKY IMPRESSIONS RUBBER STAMPS and snatch up a couple of these cuties!!!

Here is my project for week #2 which was to think outside the box - make something 3D or altered art of some kind. I made a piggy bank using a bubble gum tin. I picked up this container of Double Bubble in Shelby, Montana when my sister and I were heading to Great Falls for a shopping trip. It already had the slit in the top, I just had to eat the gum and cover the container! I wanted this to be a "shopping trip fund" piggy bank for my NEXT trip to the USA to shop!!! LOL

I used Angelica's Heart Socks and coloured her with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol.

Here is a view of the top:

Thanks for stopping by and please head to the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to see what a few of the Design Team members have to share with you this week!! You are in for a REAL treat this week!!!!!

The dragonfly is actually a button that Diana from Magnolia-licious sent to me with my collection of stamps I ordered!
