Simon Says......Father's Day/Masculine

This week our challenge for you is to make a FATHER'S DAY or MASCULINE card or project.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge:

The CS is Pacific Point (SU) and the DP Tim Holtz's KRAFT RESIST paper. I have distressed the edges of all the papers with WALNUT DISTRESS INK. The ticket stamp is a Tim Holtz BLANK TICKET stamp which I stamped Happy Father's Day inside (SU stamp). The OWL is from INKADINKADOO and is embossed with Tim Holtz's BRUSHED CORDUROY Distress EMBOSSING POWDER. The copper brads are from my stash. As you can see from my project, Simon Says Stamp has EVERYTHING TIM HOLTZ...and I mean, EVERYTHING!!!!

Simon Says....Look what the stork brought!!!!

Our Simon Family is growing!!!!! Our lovely Heidi is due to give birth to her 2nd child anytime now...and we couldn't be more happy for her!!! I have used a clear stamp set from INKADINKADOO, which you can get at Simon Says Stamp Superstore!!! The CS is Green Galore (SU) and the Designer paper is from SU as well. The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash!

Simon Says....Happy Hoppers Blog Hop & RECIPE CHALLENGE!!!!

WHAT A GREAT week this is going to be!!! Have we got surprises for YOU!!!!!!

First of all, this weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is to use a "recipe"...no, I'm not asking you to BAKE!!!! LOL I don't bake at all, but THIS kind of recipe, I can handle!!!

On your card, you are to use 1 image, 2 designer papers and 3 DIFFERENT types of embellishments.

Here is my card:

I used 2 papers from a K&C company stack of paper I've had FOREVER! The card base is Vintage Violet, a retired SU In Color which I love and have hoarded for about 4 years!!!! LOL The 3 different embellies are flowers, rhinestones and a button. And my image is a House Mouse image I got from Simon Says Stamp. I kinda cheated but the sentiment isn't really considered an "image" ... is it??? The sentiment is from Inkadinkado & I got that from Simon Says Stamp too!

Welcome Baby Dragon!!

I made this card for our friends who just had a baby boy. We bought them a gift card from Toys R Us & it had a dragon on it, so this card works perfect! The stamp is from High Hopes & the sentiment is from a mini clear set from Inkadinkadoo. The DP is Jersey Shore from SU and the CS base is Brilliant Blue.

Shadow Box cards

I was cleaning out a box of card kits that I have collected after all my workshops (unused from people who cancel...grrr) and thought - HEY, why don't I use these up?? I found a bunch of already cut and scored shadow boxes, so I stamped em up! Here they are:

This one is made with a clear, mini Inkadinkadoo set I got from Simon Says Stamp.

This one is using a new Tilda I got and the new SU set called Love you much.

This one uses the hearts from Love you much, and the owl from Simon Says Stamp set. I made the flap on top myself!

Here is a top view of the shadow box, can't remember the dimensions but if you really want them, let me know and I will measure!! No biggie!!!
