The Corrosive Challenge Blog

This week was a tough one...NO WHITE (or Vanilla) PAPER!!!! Thankfully we are being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and were able to work with some papers and images that warrant coloured paper! The DP is from Robyn's Fetish, as is the pumpkin and the sentiment! The pumpkin is actually 3D - sorry I forgot to take a side view (as usual!!) I added some bat punches (MS) as a finishing touch! Head over to the CHALLENGE BLOG to see what the rest of the DT created using NO white or vanilla paper!!! I hope you will join us this week!!!

Simon Says.....BOO!! It's HALLOWEEN!!!

This week our challenge at Simon Says Stamp is HALLOWEEN!!! If you don't celebrate Halloween, that is ok, make an orange & black creation! The twist this week is DRY EMBOSSING!!!! So, don't forget to use dry embossing!!!! I have used my Cuttlebug SPIDERWEB folder for mine. Edwin the Mummy is so cute - I have taken some of his bandages and "popped" them up (you can see it better in the second photo). Both of which you can get at Simon Says Stamp Superstore!!! The Cardstock is Only Orange from SU! and the DP is from my scraps bin! The sentiment is from a $1.50 stamp from Michael's.

As always, you can win this if you join us this week!!!! How awesome!!!

And, remember to come back on Friday after you've entered the Simon challenge to enter to win my Friday Freebie - the prizes are endless!! Check out the other DT blogs too, they all have blog candy too!!! YUMMMMM!!!!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will join us!!

Karen's Doodles Challenge - Halloween!!

This weeks challenge at Karen's Doodles is HALLOWEEN!! Lots of Challenge blogs are doing this theme so it should be fun to see all of the GREAT Halloween cards and projects out there!!!

I have made an accordion book for my niece as a Halloween gift (I don't like giving her candy, so I try to come up with different things each year!). I collected all of her Halloween photos for the past 5 years, and put them in this book. I took these pictures before I had all the photos but you kinda get the idea!!! I also decorated the back of the pages so we can add in the next 5 years of her Halloween costumes!!

This image is called Kitty Cat...isn't it adorable?!?!
Here it is tied closed with an orange & black ribbon.
and the book, opened up.
Head on over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has created to spook you this Halloween!!!! Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT week!

Corrosive Challenge.....HALLOWEEN

The challenge this week at Janet's Corrosive Challenge blog is to make a Halloween card or project!! YAhoooooo!!!! Or should I say " BOO!!" LOL

Wheeee, I am getting my fill of Halloween cards but its a GOOD thing since I have SO many to make!!!! I made this card using a tutorial found HERE, and it was FUN!!!! I used the Sweet Treat Cups from Stampin'Up! I ended up making 6 of these! I love that they have a little trap door so they don't ruin the card when they try to get the candies out! By "they" I mean my nieces and nephews - who will be getting these!!!

Here is the little trap door half open!!!! Cute eh? this is the inside front of the card! At the top (cut off in the picture is a little pull tab!!!

I used some paper from the Heidi Grace Halloween pack I got last year - I'm sad that I used up all this cute spider paper (even though I HATE spiders). The ribbon was from my stash & the sentiment was sent to me & I found it in my images tub (it is literally a TUB!!)

Just for fun, I will show you a couple of the others I made - although I'm not as crazy about these as the spider one!!!! LOL But here they are anyway!!!!

I hope you will join us for this challenge!!! Have a great week!!!
