Stamp Fairy Birthday Blog Hop

We have a special post to delight you today. Stamp Fairy is celebrating its FIRST BIRTHDAY , so Gerda and the Stamp fairies are hosting a blog hop, with a difference - EVERYONE who completes the hop will win a prize.

Gerda has released two very special collections showcasing two of her delightful characters.  These collections showcase the characters in 12 monthly themes throughout the year and the Stamp fairies have each created a Calendar using some or all of the images.  Some of us are teasing you with only a month or two of our calendar, but other teamies will share the whole calendar if you're lucky!

 Hoppers...here is what you need to do:  Hop between the Stamp Fairy teamies and the challenge blog, collecting letters for a MYSTERY PHRASE. The letter you are collecting from me is.............

 

Ensure you leave a comment on each teamie's blog (including ME!)  and collect a letter from each teamie along the trip.  The letters are randomly placed but will spell a short phrase.  

Once you have completed the hop, left your comments and collected your letters, work out the phrase and email it to Gerda (webmaster@stampfairy.com).  This will get you a Freebie image. Yes that is right, a Freebie image for everyone who completes the hop and emails the correct phrase.  

And let me tell you a secret: the image you will receive is ADORABLE !!

So, here is what I did!  I took a 5x7 picture frame, took out the glass & punched holes in the back of it with my Crop-o-dile.  I used 2 inch Binder rings to hold my pages on.

Front view (I just added the DP there to make it look pretty..no one will ever see it as the calendar pages are in front of it!)

This is Molly Fairy - isn't she pretty?!?!?   I have coloured her in Autumn colours (with Copics of course) to match the paper, which is Basic Grey, I think!    The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash!  I added 3D Glittering Crystal glue to her wings and wand, and used my Sakura gelly roll STARDUST pen for the rest.

Simon Says...ANYTHING GOES!!!!

This week, our challenge for you is ANYTHING GOES! We know how much you ALL love these ones, so here is another one!!!!

The DT is showcasing UNITY stamps and LAWN FAWN that Simon Says Superstore has in store...there are SO many to choose from! SO, if you have any of these stamps, please feel free to use them, but remember, it's not mandatory to enter!! WE just like to showcase a variety of products!!! Always fun to use new things too!!!!

Here is my project:

The UNITY stamp set I have used is called CHRISTMAS EVE CHOWDER and it is SO cute!!!!  It matches the Jillibean Soup paper that I have, so I had to have it all!!! LOL  I have used some white cardstock & some scrap white to make the snow hills.  The ribbon is from my stash.  Simple card, but its kinda cute eh?  I also used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder for the background.

Karen's Doodles Challenge - NonTraditional Christmas Colours

This week's challenge at Karen's Doodles is to use NON-TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLOURS!!!

I have used BABY PRESENT and coloured it with Copics. The CS is Melon Mambo (SU) and the DP is from Recollections - Jingle Bells pack from Michaels.  I LOVE the bright pink glittery paper...so pretty!!!! I've been REALLY drawn to it lately (as you'll notice!!! LOL)

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog - TREES!!!

This week Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog has another great challenge for you - create something with TREES!!!!  

Our sponsor this week is LIMITED RUNS.....and of course our very own Nikki has been hard at work creating new digis for you....lots of great ones with TREES!!!!!  AND, the DT were fortunate to get some GREAT images to use!!!!

Here is my card - I have used LITTLE TREE:

I have used an odd colour combo, but I kinda like it! The CS is Buckaroo Blue (SU) and the DO is from a Recollections paper pack called Jingle Bells - it is glittery fuschia.  Then, I added a large clear plastic snowflake - its hard to see but in real life, it looks kinda cool!   I have coloured the image with Copics and added some white 3D puff paint for the snow & snowflakes on the image.
