Simon Says..... Sing it Baby!!!!

This week over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog, our challenge for you is to make a card, scrapbook page or project with a SONG THEME in your head! You know, when you CAN'T get that song out of your mind, and you sing it for DAYS???? I have had the Lion King in my head for the last few weeks, as it is the school play we are doing next year. I somehow got roped into being the producer, so it's a good thing I love that movie!!! NO idea what a producer does, but apparently I DELEGATE a lot....I'm good at that!!! LOL

Here is the scrapling card I made with "I just can't wait to be King" as my song title!!

The papers were in my scrap bin, and the Lion is from Magnolia, which you can get at Simon Says Stamp! The little crown is from a Inky Antics set (Princess Turtle) I got AGES ago!! I coloured "Simba" with Copics and added stickles to the crown to make it BLINGY!!!

My first Scrapling....

I know they've been out there for a long time, I just never got around to making one! I have been on a kick lately (as you know) about using up my scraps, so this is perfect. I found several measurements for Scraplings but this one is 3" x 5.5" - a little bigger than most I've seen but really....are there ANY rules in paper crafting??? It's a good size for a little girls birthday!

I used LiLi's Stuffed Bunny from Inky Impressions and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. I coloured LiLi using my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol.

Very simple, very plain & very pink!!!
