Simon Says....... HALLOWEEN

This week, our challenge for you is HALLOWEEN or GOTH so pull out those Spooky Halloween cards & lets see what you do with them!!!!!

Here is my card:




I have used Changito MUMMY and have coloured him with Copics. The card base is Basic Black and the DP & the sentiment is from Heidi Grace. The Googly Eyes are from my stash, but you can BET I got them at Simon Says Stamp!!!! I have also used my new Martha Stewart WEB punch around the page punch.

I have used a new image from Dustin Pike - it is one from his Hippo collection and MAN are they cute!!!!! I have coloured him with Copics. The CS is Sage Shadow and Crushed Curry (SU). The DP is from Basic Grey. The sentiment is from Changito.

Simon Says.....Let it Snow!!!

This week, the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is LET IT SNOW!!!!

I made a shaker easel card with Changito Shovel stamp. Inside the shaker is chunky glitter from Doodlebug. The snowflake is a MS punch and some plastic shiny snowflakes I think I got from the Dollar Store AGES ago! I then added a half pearl on top. The sentiment is from a Crafty Secrets set I've have for a few years, and it is always a good GO-TO set for me! The paper is from my bin, not sure if it is SU or PTI.....can't remember!!!! Sorry!!!

The Corrosive Challenge Blog..... Cartoon Characters!

Simon Says......Let it SNOW!!!!

This week at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog, we want you to LET IT SNOW!!!!!!

What a fun challenge, and pretty good timing since we got hit by a HUGE blizzard on Friday & the city is STILL dealing with the HUGE amounts of snow!!!! Scroll down a few posts to see some pics of the snow, and my cute dog, Brick!!!!

Here is my card for this challenge:

The card base is a preprinted one I got in a box at Michael's a few years ago, so I am trying to use them up. The other paper is scraps of snowflake paper! Changito Shovel stamp is available at Simon Says Stamp Superstore, so if you LOVE him, go grab him before he's gone!!! I used some 3D glittering crystal paint from Michaels for the snow & snowflakes!

Altered mini notebooks

These are those little note pads you can buy at the Dollar Store - 4 for $1 or something like that - I had these for almost 2 years, from a notebook swap I did back then!!! I decided to alter them and put them in my Craft Sale too!!!! I did 2 "boy" themed and 2 "girl" themed! Hope you like them!!!!

Our Creative Corner Challenge - monochromatic

ANOTHER challenge this week....yeahhh for me!!!! LOL



This weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corner is to use monochromatic colours. Well, I just happened to be in that mood the other day so I did TWO!!!!!



I bought these great little A2 gift card holders from Taylored Expressions - they are so awesome! Once I started, I couldn't stop making them!! You will see more of these SOON!!!! I bought yellow ones and brown ones - you buy 10 in a pack for 50 cents each....you can't beat that!!!!! She has some REALLY cute things - click on the link above and go check it out!!!!


Here is a pic of it sitting open - inside there are slits to put the gift card into. There is a tab on the front to close the gift card.


Ok, so I bought BRIGHT yellow - wasn't sure I had any paper to coordinate with it but I dug in my massive STASH and found some great papers to go with it!!! Here is the first one I made:
