Dare to Be SASSY Thursday!!!!

Good morning everyone!!!  Sorry I'm so late with this...the week just got away from me & I didn't realize it was Thursday already!! YIKES!!!!!! 

The challenge this week at DARE TO BE SASSY THURSDAYS is Kentucky Derby aka HATS!  I have used Copper eh? My hubby quite liked this one!!!!  I was actually inspired to make this card because of the little set of keys charm that I found in my stash!!!  The embossed brick wall is Tim Holtz (sizzix) and the sentiment is computer generated!!!

ABC Challenge - Photo Inspiration

This week at  ABC Christmas Challenge  our letter is  
I for Inspirational Photo

Isn't it gorgeous?? LOTS of choices here folks!!! No excuses!!! LOL

AND here is my card, using Ornament Mouse from Meljen's - our sponsor this week! I took my inspiration from the gorgeous silver and blue wreath in the bottom right pretty!!!! I used Bashful blue and some silver glitter paper, my snowflake embossing folder and some sheer (is that organza??) ribbon I had on my ribbon wall!!!

Love to Create challenge - punches & dies


Good morning everyone!!! Happy Monday!!!!!
                                          This week the LOVE TO CREATE Challenge is 

Here is my card I made for my student teacher on her last day!  She is officially a TEACHER now - so happy for her!!!  

One of our sponsors this week is Dr. Digi House of Stamps & I have used Brunnhilde.  

And the inside sentiment:

 AND this is the die cut of one of the shapes in the pattern.  The red swirly thing on the left side is also a die cut!  These both came with the paper...which is ..........either Kaiser or 7 Gypsies.....can't remember at the moment but will go find out after!  SORRY!!!  I coloured her with Copics then added crystal lacquer to her helmet, sword, shield and grey parts on her dress.

This weeks sponsor is MELJEN'S DESIGNS.  I have used MAMMA WHALE & have coloured it with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol. The papers were from my stash, as were the blue rhinestones!  I thought the sentiment went SO well with this image...too cute!!!!

Sassy Studio Designs - New Release blog hop


Good morning everyone!!!!  I am here to celebrate the NEW RELEASE blog hop for Sassy Studio Designs!!!!  There are a bunch of AMAZING new images in the Off to Find a Wizard set!!! SO Gorgeous!!!!  So, I hope you will join us!!!  Here is the Tic Tac Toe that you can use for your creation!!!!

Sooooooooooooo, now on to my creation!!! I was given TIN SASSY to work with for this challenge & I used the top row of the board - Brick - Yellow - Ribbon! 

The Brick is a Tim Holtz embossing folder - done on Riding Hood Red.  The card base is Saffron (SU) and I used some silver glitter paper to mount the sentiment and the image.  Unfortunately, you can't see it well...but her entire suit and hat are covered in Crystal Lacquer to give it a shiny appearance like tin.....looks really cool IRL!  I found some silver ribbon and added some rhinestones.  Tin Sassy is coloured with copics.
