Designed2Delight challenge

This weeks freebie at Designed2Delight is "Cat's Meow" - Adorable little kitty!!! I used to have an orange tabby just like this guy, named Ozzy!! He was such a funny character!!! I coloured him with Copics and added some stickles to the center of the flowers and the butterflies. The sentiment is from a Pink Cat Studio set I've had for a really long time but it fit perfectly with this image! The DP is from an adhesive mat pack from DCWV. I don't think it fits with the Double Delight Challenge this week - which is use Summer colours, but head there to check it out anyway!!! OK, Kris says it is summery, so I am going to enter it into the Double Delight challenge!!! LOL Wheeeee!!!!!

I am also entering this into the Paper Jewels challenge which is Ribbons and flowers - got flowers on my DP (hope that counts) and ribbon!

Soccer elephant

I made this birthday card for my little cousin who is a big soccer buff! The image is from Elizabeth Dulemba - she has some really cute FREE digi images!! I coloured this little guy with copics. The paper is from my scraps bin, but I loved it cuz of the stars! I punched some stars from my Creative Memories star punch and added some sparkle to them! The sentiment is from a Penny Black set called Critter Party, that I got at Simon Says Stamp. I love this sentiment because it fits in the Word Window punch (SU!) perfectly!!!

Simon Says.... Paper Piece!

This weeks challenge for you at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is to PAPER PIECE!!!! I decided to paper piece this cute elephant by Penny Black. It's very monochromatic, which seems to be my trend lately...I think I need to do some colour challenges to get out of that rut!!!!



The CS is Pretty in Pink (SU) and the DP is some glittery star stuff I had in my scraps bin! I used my Star Cuttlebug folder for the bottom layer. The sentiment is from a Verve Stamps set I've had for years! The charm & flowers I got at Simon Says Stamp - the star was a charm, I just cut off the little ring to make it look like a button.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge....

Yeahhh!!! Another week participating in Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge! I'm on a roll!!! I know this will change once I go back to work next week! UGH!!! But, might as well enjoy it while I can!! This weeks challenge is to use a sketch, so here is my card using Kenny K's GOLFER image. The paper is all from my scrap bin, and the ribbon is recycled off an old notebook that I recovered!!! I coloured him with Copics then added grass & sky using chalks (and to cover up a inky fingerprint!!! LOL DON'T LOOK FOR IT!!!) LOL

Two Tildas Today

I was on a Tilda roll the other day & made up a bunch of Birthday cards to have on hand. I used some more card kits from a swap I did awhile back so the papers are all unknown. I just love this first piece with the fancy edge and the strawberries...so cute! The card base is Bazzill CS (Emerald City) and the rest of the stuff (ribbon, flowers, DP) was all in the kit. The sentiment is from an old Studio G clear set from Michael's. The card measures 5.5" square.



With the scrap pieces from the above card, I made a scrapling card (5.5 x 3) with the same Tilda. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from a Penny Black set called Critter Party which I got at Simon Says Stamp!

I made this bookmark for my sister because when I was up at her cottage, we made fruity, girlie drinks with her new Margaritaville maker...and we complained that we didn't have any umbrellas!
