Totally Tilda!!

A couple Tilda's for you to enjoy:

This one was made for the challenge over at Roses on Paper - the challenge was to make a Valentine's Day card (hence the sentiment), use roses (Bella Rose paper), masking (the trees and the shadow under her feet) and use a Magnolia stamp (or WOJ, Alota, Sarah Kay or R.A.M). This is Paris Tilda so I thought the sentiment "amour" fit well - might use this for my hubby's Valentine's Day card!

Another Tilda with a funky fold! I used my PRECIOUS Au chocolat paper from SU (retired) & had her perched on the circles.

Here is a view of it open - I should have taken one of it closed but it is gone to its recipient already. But when it is closed, you can see the inside DP and scallops. The large circle that Tilda is sitting on reaches to the edge of the DP. The dimensions of the card were 9 x 5, then folded back 1 inch. does that make sense??

THE LIST!!!

I've seen several blogs that have this list going on - to highlight things you have done/accomplished in your life, so I thought I would too. Silly Monkey!

These two cards are made using SILLY MONKEY - a brand new set from Simon Says Stamp ---> check out the link on the right!!! It is such a cute set with the big monkey, the monkey head, some leaves, a vine, some stars and a few sentiments! Heck of a deal for $14.99!!! Go check out their other sets!!!
I used my new Houndstooth Cuttlebug folder to make the background - kept it kinda simple.

This card uses the sketch from Mojo Monday 70 over at Verve Stamps. I am trying NOT to be a hoarder & I was/am definately hoarding this AU CHOCOLAT paper from SU (few years ago) - I love it so much, and it's almost all gone!! booo hooooooooooooo

Valentine's Day cards

Although I've never really "bought" into the whole idea of Valentine's day, the children in my life have, so I have to play along for their sake!! I think that there shouldn't be just ONE day to tell people you love them - it should be EVERY day of the year! AND I find it too commercialized - it's a silly day!!!! LOL Anyway, here are some cards I made for my nieces and nephews, and friends of the family. This one is made from Victoria Case's "Monster Hugs" stamp - isn't he an adorable little guy??
This cat is a digital image is from squigglefly.

This pig is from a set from CC Designs at All that Scraps (I think it comes in digital too). I drew the cloud he is sitting on and filled it with Glittering Crystal 3D paint I got at Michael's. The hearts were punched from a One Sheet Wonder I did but never "did"...know what I mean?? LOL
Another using the same pig.
Here is a close up so you can see the cloud a bit better!
The background paper is more from the One Sheet Wonder I made using a variety of hearts and sayings from a the new Verve Stamps Valentine sets. The dragon is from High Hopes, and the sentiment is from an SU set called Happy Heart Day (oh how that saying makes me crazy!!!). His name is Huggable Hank - but I thought he looked like he should be holding a big heart!! That is the Marvy Mega scallop punch.

Here is a side view so you can see how it is all popped out.

This bunny is from the same set as the pig - there is also a bear in heart boxers. He is going to be for the boys' Valentine's Day cards!!! The sentiment is masked from an Easter $1.50 stamp from Michael's. The paper is from my scraps and the buttons are from my stash!!!

Digi Digi Digi!!!!

Ok, so the latest addiction is DIGITAL images & I have two favourite spots to purchase them - squigglefly and Victoria Case Stamps.....go check em out if you haven't already!!!
This water fairy is from Victoria Case - and is soooo beautiful. I printed her off a bit too large so this card is 6x6 - didn't realize it until I had her all coloured and she looked so pretty I didn't want it to go to waste!! I used my Twinkling H2Os for the FIRST time on her wings - I'm not totally happy with my first attempt, but it still shimmers. I will work on that technique for sure!!!

This little cutie is BEARY HAPPY, also from Victoria Case. The sentiment is from High Hopes, but it fits SO well with this image!!!

This image is from squigglefly & is part of a collection they are starting called Divine Bovine's - so if you like cows, or know someone who does (TRACY!!!!) go check em out!! I used Glittering Crystal 3D paint on the bubbles and the textile CB folder to imitate wallpaper! LOL
