Incy wincy Designs - RECYCLE

**Please scroll down...this is my 2nd post for today!!! THANKS!!!**

This week Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog has another great challenge for you - RECYCLE!!! So.....you need to use something on your card or project that has been recycled - it could be an old box or tin, a button, ribbon from a box of chocolates, a vintage charm, etc. GREAT way to save the environment!!!!

Our sponsor this week is THE PRAIRIE FAIRY and Roberta is generously offering a $15 Gift Certificate to the shop!!!! WOW!!!! Lots of GREAT images there, I LOVE her work!!!!

Here is my card using an image from our sponsor - PRAIRIE FAIRY this week :

I cut out a 5x5 square from a cereal box before it went in the recycling bin! I covered it with Lauderdale paper (BASIC GREY) and added a soother brad, some ribbon & the computer generated sentiment. This is POLICEMAN LEWIS, isn't he great? He looks ready to stop anyone from coming into your baby's room!!!! LOL

Go check out all the other DT's creations from PRAIRIE FAIRY this week!!!

Have fun and good luck!!! I hope you'll join us this week!

This next card is for the ABC Christmas challenge....B is for Black & White. I had an idea in my head then it sorta changed half way through, then I realized I coloured my zebra all black...oops!!!! Thanks for stopping by! Cross your fingers & toes for me!!!! Have a GREAT day!!!

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy Designs is a tough one........your creation must be ALL WHITE, except for the image!!!! EEK!!!! I kinda failed since my sentiment is in colour....but that is still considered an "image", right?!?!?! LOL Anyway, we are being sponsored by the lovely Roberta at PRAIRIE FAIRY DESIGNS.

You can win 5 images from her store - and let me tell you, she has some GREAT images available!!! A whole bunch of new ones....I couldn't resist!!! LOL I have used Mistletoe Kisses...isn't Gillian great? I love her!!! Anyway, head to the Challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has created with some Prairie Fairy images and plan to join us this week!!!!

Mother's Day Cards....

Here are the 2 Mother's Day cards I made for my Mom and Tim's Mom. The paper is Lavender Moon and Plum Pudding from PTI. I used the Swiss Dots CB folder for the back layer and Lavender Moon ribbon. The first image is from Lili of the Valley (thanks Shana!) and the second is a Prairie Fairy image. Roberta was giving this away free to use to enter her DT call, but I didn't get enough time to make something with it before the call was over! Ahhh well!!!! It is still a GREAT fairy, and I just HAD to use it!!!! The sentiments are from Teeny Tiny Wishes from SU!

Happy Mothers Day to all you MOMS out there!!!! I hope you have a GREAT day!!!! We will be trying to go from one house to the other, so hopefully we get some good quality visiting in with our Moms!!!!
Big hugs,
Chris

Prairie Fairy images...sooo cute!!!

I have 2 cards to show you from Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps. Roberta is a fellow Canadian and a GREAT artist!!! You really need to go to her site and check it out!!!!

This first card is a scrapling (3.5" x 5.5"). I used Pink Passion CS, some scraps of Basic Grey DP and some scrap rikrak. I coloured the bunny with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol.

This second card is a 5x5" square card. I used pink passion CS, and some DP from SU (can't remember the series) and some scrap ribbon. The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash and I just HAD to add Googlie eyes to this cute monster. I also added some Crystal Effects to her nose & teeth for some dimension! Inside it says, "I hope your birthday is monstrously delicious"

Thanks for stopping by!!!! Have a great weekend!!!
