Karen's Doodles - Oldies but Goodies

This card is for Karen's Doodles Oldies But Goodies post over on the Challenge blog! It is a great resource for those forgotten images that are AMAZING!!! So, go ahead, dig out yours and have some fun!!!

I have used 2 images together (love PNG files!!!) - Fisher Dad Set and the background from the Tropical Party Set. I have coloured it with Copics and chalks. The CS is Apricot from Bazzill and the DP is from Basic Grey. I found the sentiment online and just printed it out on my computer - I thought is was funny and fit the expression on the Dad's face!! The charms and ribbon are from my stash.

Simon Says... PAPER PIECING......

This week at Simon Says, we would like you all to join us in our challenge this week of PAPER PIECING (or PIERCING) If you head to the CHALLENGE BLOG, you can see the fabulous Design Teams creations!

The DT are showcasing MFT (My Favorite Things) - you don't have to use them for this challenge but if you have them, why not?!?!? Here is my card for this weeks challenge:

I have used a MFT set called GOING PLACES. The CS is Perfect Plum (SU) and the Designer paper is from SU (Almost Amethyst). I coloured it all with Copics and paper pieced her dress to match. The flower punch, ribbon and rhinestone are from my stash. You can get all of this at Simon Says Stamp Superstore!!! I DID!!!!

This week, the freebie this week is called Flutterby Fairy from Designed2Delight. She is so cute eh?? If you didn't get this freebie, head to the shop and pick it up, and start joining us for freebies EACH week!!!! It's so fun and SO addicting!!! LOL

The CS is Brocade Blue (SU) and the DP is from my stash - not sure which vendor. I coloured it all with Copics and added stickles to the butterfly, her wings and around the sentiment. The sentiment is a stamp from my favourite Simon Says Stamp exclusive set!

Karen's Doodles - For the Kids

This week's challenge at Karen's Doodles is For the Kids ! So we'd like to see your projects for children (or children at heart!!) LOL!!


The image I have used for this card is SUPER BOY. Doesn't he look brave? Love him!!

I coloured him with Copics and a bit of at you Spica pens. The CS is Ballet Blue (SU) and the DP is from the Grade School stack from DCWV. The sentiment is generated on the computer.

Incy Wincy Designs - I DO!

In honour of the Royal Wedding that took place last weekend, Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog decided to have a special challenge this week. Our challenge for you is to make a WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT card - or any project with that theme!

Here is my project using an image from our sponsor this week - Karen's Doodles. This image is called I DO! so it is very appropriate for this weeks challenge! Thanks to Karen's Doodles for letting the Design Team work with a few of your super images!

I coloured the image with Copics. I added glitter to her veil and flowers for a bit of bling. I wanted to keep the card fairly clean, to showcase the gorgeous image. Inside, it simply says "Congratulations". The pearls are from my stash! The CS is Black (SU) and the DP is Almost Amethyst (SU).

Guest Designing for Paper Sundaes Challenge blog

Hello everyone! This is my 2nd post for today - rare on a Sunday I know!! BUT I was asked to be a Guest Designer to represent Karen's Doodles at Paper Sundaes Challenge blog. Karen's Doodles is sponsoring them this week, so I thought...HOW FUN to play along!!! So, here I am!!!!!

Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog always has fun challenges and great sponsors (like Karen's Doodles!!!!) so head on over there to check it out!!! This week's challenge is Your Favourite Hair Colour. Mine is blonde, since I USED to be blonde...LOL...but as I got older it turned mousey brown..yuck!!! Now I dye it to hide all the grey!!! LMAO

I coloured FAIRY PRINCESS with Copics and in her hair, I usedd Y13, Y15 and Y19. It's hard to see the variation in this pic but it's there...honest!!!! The CS is Pixie Pink (SU) and the DP is Prima flowers Fairy Flora from Simon Says Stamp. I added rhinestones and stickles and a sentiment from Pink Cat Studio.

This weeks challenge at The Corrosive Challenge blog is a colour challeng - use Pink, Turquoise and Black!!! I love colour challenges cuz it gets me out of my monochromatic box!! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

The CS is Black, Pretty in Pink and Tempting Turquoise (SU) and the DP is Basic Grey - Euphoria pack. The image is Panda Paul Bamboo, from The Stamp Fairy (nope, no addiction here!!! LOL) The rhinestones are from my stash - *shocking* I had pink and turquoise!! LOL
