House Mouse cuties!

 Hey Hey everyone!!! Happy Saturday! The sun is FINALLY shining so this will be quick cuz I want to get outside with the dogs!!!! YAYYYY!!!!!! 

I made this card for a Student Teacher we had at our school when his term was up!! Happy to say he got a teaching job right away - so proud of him!!!

 I just love this image and I love these little handmade pencils (Its a toothpick!!!)  I am entering this into Outlawz Paper A la Mode challenge which is ANIMALS, Just Add Ink which is LAYERS, Polka Doodles which is ANIMAL MAGIC, Quick Quotes which is a PROJECT WITH STAMPING, and lastly House Mouse Challenge which is MASCULINE (HMFMC #166)

Second Saturday challenge......

I am entering this card - an ATC turnaround - for the House Mouse and Friends Challenge blog-challenge code HMFMC130

 I made the ATC first, then mounted it on Green Galore so it popped from the DP.  I coloured the image using Copics then coloured the water with chalk. I think this is the first time I've inked up this image...OMG that's BAD! It is sooo cute!!! He looks so relaxed!!!!

Entering a few challenges......

  I have made a little box using a House Mouse stamp that I've had forever...can't remember the name of it off hand!   The box template I purchased from Taylored Expressions & I filled it with little chocolates for a friend.  I kept it very simple with the same image on both sides of the box. 

 
 This week the challenge at Addicted to Stamps is ANIMAL FRIENDS.

 Penny Black and More challenge blog has an Animal Magic challenge this week.  

A new challenge blog I found, Challenges 4 Everybody is having an Anything Goes challenge this week.

Simon Says - April Showers bring May flowers!!

This week, our challenge for you is  April Showers bring May Flowers!

Here is my card for this week:

 The CS I used is Hero Arts - Daffodil layering papers and the DP is Hopscotch - Basic Grey
The stamp I used is Sitting in the rain - House Mouse   and have coloured it with chalks and At You Spica pens.  I added stickles to the raindrops too.  The sentiment stamp is from the Sunnier Days - Simon Says Stamp  April stamp kit of the month. The flowers & rhinestones are from my stash and the swirl is a swirl punch I've had for ages!

Simon Says....BINGO/Tic Tac Toe

This week, our challenge for you is a TIC TAC TOE/Bingo board! All you do, is choose 3 items in a row (across, down or diagonal) and use those 3 things in your project! Here is the board for this week:

 

Here is my project.  I used RIBBON, PUNCHES, and MULTI-FOLD.  I have made a new tent fold card that I just LOVE! It is free standing and SO easy! I got the tutorial from HERE.

Here is the front of the card:

Side view so you can see the "tent" & how it stands (you can see the flap, that fits under the image - if you open that you can see inside the card! AND it fits into a regular A2 envelope!):

AND a close up of the heart punch faux button I made.  I made this with my SU heart punch - punched 6 of them, ran them through my MESH embossing folder and glued them together.  I punched the holes with my crop-o-dile and ran the ribbon through.  Easy Peasy!!!   I just love the "country style" look it has! FUN!!!

I have used Together Under the Moon by House Mouse as my image, and coloured it with Gamsol & my Koh-i-noor pencils.  The sentiment is from a Simon Says exclusives set. The CS is Buckaroo Blue (SU) and the DP is from a DCWV adhesive mat stack that I've had FOREVER!!!

Simon Says...SING IT!!!! (Song or Film title inspired!)

This week, our challenge for you is to use a SONG TITLE or FILM TITLE to inspire your creation!!

Here is my card:

The song that I had in my head when I looked at all my stamps (I was stumped for inspiration, and the music I was listening to WAS NOT helping!! LOL)......so I chose TWINKLE, TWINKLE LITTLE STAR as my song title.

I have used a HOUSE MOUSE stamp called MOUSE STAR. I coloured him with COPICS then added STICKLES to the star for some "twinkle"! The CS is YO YO Yellow (SU) and the DP is this funky mulberry paper with silver embossing - it feels & looks really cool in person! I got this paper from my good buddy and teamie LOLS! The yellow organza ribbon is from my stash!

I have used a House Mouse stamp called SLEEPING WITH STRAWBERRIES. The sentiment is also from House Mouse, called Fruits and Nuts. I think this is one of my first HM stamps I ever bought, isn't he cute!!!! That's how I feel after Christmas dinner! LOL

The Cardstock is Real Red and Crushed Curry (SU) and the DP is from The Grade School Pack by DCWV. I added a watermelon brad from my stash because I didn't have any strawberry ones. I'm going to head to Simon Says Superstore and get me some now!!! LOL The Nestabilities and Copics that I used to colour it are also from Simon Says Stamp!

The image is from I BRAKE FOR DIGIS - hilarious little frog images!! I love them!!! I coloured this with Copics, then added Crystal Lacquer to the jar, the bottle, the glass and his eyes! The sentiment is actually from House Mouse (Stampabilities) but it fit so nicely with this guy!!! I had the DP in my stash.

Simon Says....Photo Inspiration

This week at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog our challenge for you is to use this photo to inspire your creation! I don't know about you, but that cocktail looks mighty YUMMMMMMYYY!!!!!! I took my inspiration from the colour, the umbrella and the "drink" theme and found the PERFECT stamp to use!!!!


I used a House Mouse stamp that I have had for a long time, which I bought at Simon Says Stamp! I think I bought ALL of my House Mouse stamps there...they have SUCH a great selection!! I coloured this with Copics and added Crystal Lacquer to the glasses - it looks more real in person!!!! I coloured the grass behind the mice with chalks. The DP was from my stash, very cute seashell paper - but unfortunately, this was the last piece...sniff sniff!!!! LOL Does anyone else find a little piece of their heart hurts when you use the LAST piece of a really great pack or piece of paper?? LOL

Simon Says......Easter or Spring and some glimmer!

The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is Easter or Spring and some GLIMMER!!! Yes, we mean shiny, shimmery sparkly things!

My first card is a cutie Easter Tilda from last year. I painted the flowers with copics to match the paper, and spritzed them with Glimmer mist (juneberry). Tilda is sitting on a very glittery egg too!!!

For my second project, I chose a cute House Mouse stamp that I got from the Simon Says Stamp Superstore, and made a 2-4-6-8 box (got the instructions AGES ago from Splitcoast Stampers!) Inside the box are some yummy chocolates for my Secret Easter Bunny exchange at work next week.

I spritzed the blue paper with Glacier Glimmer Mist to give it some shimmer...I really wish it had photographed better, it looks so pretty!!!! The eggs have stickles on them to make them sparkly too!!
