I was inspired by the song "Car Wash" .....but notice there is a space in the top right corner?? Well..... a sassy, sexy sentiment was supposed to go there but I could NOT come up with one that wasn't X-Rated!!  Hahah!!! Incy Wincy challenge - COLOUR CHALLENGE!!!

This week the Incy Wincy Design team has a GREAT  colour challenge for you...
I found this great succulent photo on Design Seeds (LOVE that site) and thought it was a cool combination...until I started trying to match papers and Copics to them! EEK!!!! I tried my best!!!!!  They look closer to the right colours in real life!!! HONEST!!!

Sexy in Blue!

Hey everyone! Been awhile - sorry!!! I was cleaning up my files and came across some cards that haven't been entered into any challenges, so thought I'd see what I could manage with this card.....still lots of Christmas challenges on the go!! SO, I am going to enter this into the following challenges:

Summertime Challenge entry

Good morning!!!! I made this card for a friend and decided to enter it into a few challenges (see below). 
I have used Surfs Up from The Stamping Chef.  I have coloured her with Copics and chalked the clouds and water.  The "sand" is brown flock and the mini sea shells are real (got them at Michaels!!)  The sentiment is from Changito....but it is one of my favourite to use for summer birthdays!!!  AND it fit nicely with this image!!!

Love to Create challenge - Paper PIECING

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Chef, and I have used Jenna.  I paper pieced her jeans and her shirt.  The DP for her jeans and the card is from Tim Holtz's Vintage Shabby collection and her shirt is from a pack from Michael's.  The flowers and ribbon are from my stash! I have coloured Jenna with Copics.....attempting to improve my hair colouring....I think this one turned out ok....its really hard to visualize where the shadows go!!! BUT the Copic Colouring Guides that I bought from Amazon have been helping!  I'll keep at it!!!

Cute Becca Boo

 Hi everyone! I hope you are having a GREAT Sunday!  We got blasted with another Spring storm, must be almost 2 feet of snow out there....ugh!!! I REALLY want to put away the snow shovel & boots....so tired of winter!!!!  I made this card HOPING it would stir on Spring...but no such luck! MAYBE now that I post it, Spring will come!!!!

This is Becca Boo, from The Stamping Chef.  I coloured her with Copics and used chalk for the grass & clouds.  The papers were just in my scraps bin and the flowers I've had forever!!!  This is a side step card - one of my favourite layouts right now!!!!

Good morning everyone!!! Happy Monday!!!!!

TAG, you're it!!!  
So let's see your tags, or your creations WITH tags on them!!!

Our sponsors this week are Eureka Stamps & The Stamping Chef.  I have used Rocking Retro by The Stamping Chef.

The sentiment was a freebie, but for the life of me, I can't remember where I got it from!! I wanted to keep it fairly simple so you could see my background.  The rainbow ribbon is from my stash.
The tag is a manilla tag from Tim Holtz and the groovy background is the SHAVING CREAM TECHNIQUE.  I put a glob of shaving cream on a plate, dropped in a few drops of SU reinkers (blue, pink, purple, yellow) and swirled it around with a chopstick!  Then I dragged the tag through the shaving cream, scraped off the excess & let it dry!!! This one was actually my 2nd try - the first try I put way too many drops of purple...I like the effect and will use this tag, but it didn't look right with the image!  Here it is so you can see it:
