Another Star Album

My friend just had a baby last week, and this album is for her. I used shades of purple because she hates pink!!! I am going to meet baby Fiona this morning! So I've been busy working on this album along with the gazillion meetings and work things I had to do this week!!! I finished it Thurs. night but only took pictures of it last night. My kudos go out to you Moms - I don't know how you do it all in a day...and I don't have kids!!! LOL

Elephant Love

I absolutely love elephants - my living room is decorated in a "safari" theme - I keep hoping they will bring me good luck! When Simon Says Stamp came out with this set in their latest releases, I HAD to have it!!!! Here are 2 cards I made with them

Sorry I don't have much to say tonight - I'm a bit "blue" tonight and I'm not sure why! My mojo is gone and I have a ton of things I want to get done!! Ahh well, maybe I will go read! G'night!!!

Shout out to SheetLoads!!!

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed the link on my side bar to SheetLoads of cards, an ezine that is absolutely amazing, especially when my mojo is gone!! Anyways, SheetLoads has, every month, a new layout and they tell you EXACTLY what papers to use, sizes, etc. to make 8 cards (or more)!!! They also tell you how to double it, or what you need to make just one. It is GREAT for Christmas cards!!! They show you how to cut the paper to get the most of it for all 8 cards and there are featured products each month. LOTS of samples of cards and other 3D items too are there, just scroll down!!

Check out the January 09 issue HERE and you can also download previous months issues - which I have done and saved to a file so they are at my fingertips when I need a sketch!!!!

more Squigglefly cards

This card uses the lion cub image from squigglefly. You should go check them out - they added a bunch of new ones & they are cute!! I printed a bunch out last night and am going to spend some time colouring them!!! This one is a Z fold card, which is why I took 2 pictures - so you could see the funky fold! The pawprint is from a cube of dog stamps I got at Wal Mart a few years ago. The sentiment is from High Hopes.

High Hopes Birthday cards

I made a few cards with some images I coloured awhile ago. I made a blue unicorn for a boy card, and a pink unicorn for a girl card. I think I might give the pink one to my niece for her birthday in March.

And here is Gavin, one of High Hopes' newest releases. The DP is from an Adhesive Mat pack that my friend Tracy bought for me. It all tied in nicely, seeing as I coloured Gavin a month ago - I just realized even his nails match the paper!!! LOL
