Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - FLOWER FRENZY!!!!

This week at Incy Wincy Designs challenge, we want to see your FLOWER FRENZY!!! Use lots of flowers, flower paper, flower images....as long as it has FLOWERS, it will qualify!!!! Anyway, on to my project. I made a gift tag using CHELSEA from Aspire To Thrive Children's Charity. I didn't write on it before I took the picture, but this particular Chelsea is perfect for tags!!!

Anyway, on to my card, which totally cheered me up!!! I have used the SEAL from Aspire To Thrive Children's Charity. I coloured him with Copics and used Bashful Blue CS (SU) and some DP from Basic Grey.

Incy Wincy Designs challenge .... COLOUR ME WONDERFUL

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy Designs is called COLOUR ME WONDERFUL. We are asking you to colour with your FAVOURITE medium - whether it be Copics, Promarkers, pencils, Twinkling H2Os, watercolour, distress inks, chalks, etc.

For my card, I coloured with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol. This parrot is from Aspire to Thrive Children's Charity and you can get him for only $1.50. Isn't he great?!?!?

I made a gate fold card - which was actually a pre-made card from a pack I got at Michael's. I just added some scrap DP to the sides and a sentiment!! Here is a picture of it opened:

Incy Wincy Designs - Bears, Bears, Bears!!!

This week at Incy Wincy Designs, we want you to pull out your BEAR stamps!!!! If you don't have any, head to Aspire To Thrive to get a bear or two! They are new releases by Heather, and they are CUTE!!!!!

I used Cheeky Bear and put some flowers in his paws! The sentiment is from a TAC set I've had for AGES!!!! Nothing fancy about this card, as I wanted to showcase the cute bear!!!

Incy Wincy Designs - Make an ATC

ATCs have been around for a very long time, so Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog thought we'd make it into a challenge. I know they are popular and they are quite fun to make!! I used this template to make 10 then I will swap out 9 of them with my friends.

I used a bird image from Aspire to Thrive Children's Charity and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp exclusive set. The CS is Only Orange (SU) and the yellow is actually white paper spritzed with Yellow Daisy Glimmer mist. The ribbon is from my stash.

Incy Wincy Designs...Distressing

This week at Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog is DISTRESSING!! I chose a coloured rose from Aspire to Thrive that matched the paper (Bearly Mine - our sponsor for the week! You can win TWO DIGI PAPER PACKS!!!!) I distressed the edges with Chocolate Chip ink and added some flourishes and gemstones. I think this card would make a great Birthday card, Sympathy card, or anything really - so I left it blank inside and will use it however I need to when the time comes!!

Incy Wincy Designs - Shape it!

This week at Incy Wincy Designs, our challenge for you is to make a different shaped card - not a square or a rectangle. Not sure why I had such trouble with this one, so I decided to play it safe and go with a circle. I don't really like this card, to be honest....my colouring is 'off' and it just looks sloppy. I am terribly sorry you had to see this but because my schedule has been beyond hectic, I didn't have time to redo it! I am SO sorry!!!!

I have used Bear with tray, sentiment stamp from SU and MS snowflakes. I added Crystal Effects to the tray to make it look like a cake in his pan - not sure I achieved that look but I tried! LOL

Incy Wincy Designs challenge

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy Designs is to make a Christmas decoration or tree ornament. I used this cute little Christmas bear from Aspire to Thrive, and made a Christmas ball for him to rest on. I ran the white circle through my CB snowflake folder and added some rhinestones for some sparkle. Here is a close up of the ball:

At Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog, we would like you to ALTER SOMETHING!!! Take something that had a use before (i.e. old coffee can, jar, bucket, etc) and alter it....make it something different and NEW!!!!! I took an ugly old notebook I got in my stocking a few years ago and made a cute new notebook. I used the FROG from Aspire To Thrive Children's Charity and a sentiment I have had FOREVER!!!! Never thought I'd use it, but it is perfect for this little notebook!!! I have had the little frog eyelet for a really long time too!!! The paper was just in my scraps bin.

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.....Music

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog is MUSIC! It is a fun challenge - open to SO many different interpretations!!!

This is my project for this week, a CD envelope. I got the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. This is the front, decorated with UKELELE from Aspire To Thrive Children's Charity shop, drawn by our very own DT member, GREG!!! I have it popped up on top of another one to give it some dimension. I should have taken a side view pic......sorry!!!

Here is a closer view of the front. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp sentiment set called "Simply the Best" Sentiments.

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.....BUTTON UP!!!

The Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog has a great challenge for you this week....USE BUTTONS on your project! I LOVE BUTTONS!!!!! I had to walk away from about 9 large pickle jars FULL of buttons at a Garage Sale on Sat....LOL...that was probably close to 10,000 buttons!!! LMAO Tim would have killed me!!!! Here is my card for this week. I used the 3D Penguin, which is available from Asprire to Thrive shop. These 3 D sheets are amazingly cool - you get the image, plus anywhere from 3-10 pieces to layer - like decoupage!!! So much fun!!!! Go check out the GREAT selection they have!!!

Here is a side view to show the layers....it looks really cool in real life!!! HONEST!!!!

I used a black card base and layered bashful blue and white to create a "winter" feel! The white layer is dry embossed with the Snowflake folder for my Cuttlebug!! I attached sparkly blue ribbon and a snowflake charm (which I got at Simon Says Stamp), buttons with silver thread, and blue rhinestones (also from Simon Says!). I coloured the penguin with Copics.
