Incy Wincy Designs - For the MEN in your life

    Good morning!!!!

 I made a card for my nephew's 20th birthday using GOLFER.
The grass is a die cut that I layered with pop dots, and the golf ball is layered too.  I ran the circles through the tiny dots folder on my cuttlebug to give it "dimples".

ABC Christmas Challenge - K for Keep it Safe!! HALF WAY REMINDER!!!!

Hi everyone! Here is my card for the ABC Christmas challenge 1/2 way reminder!! You have 1 week left to enter into our K for Keep it Safe challenge!!!! I didn't make one for last week because it was a VERY HAIRY TIME at work, so I took my time and coloured this great image from Kenny K (Reindeer Trio) and made a card for this week!!!  Coloured using Copics and At You Spica pens, crystal lacquer on their sunglasses and added some gold, silver and red string.  My KEPT item, the one I hid so I wouldn't use it (honestly, I DID!!!) was the vintage Christmas paper from Magnolia. Magnolia has such gorgeous paper, it is a nice thick paper and they have come up with some really great designs!!!  BUT alas, I cut into it! Sniff, sniff!!!! LOL

Anyway, here is my card!!!  Hope you like it!!!!

I have coloured this with Prisma pencils and Gamsol.  I added crystal lacquer to the headlights and green twine to the sentiment.

This image - Lady Victoria - was inspired by "My Immortal" by Evanescence.  I think this girl looks like Amy Lee, and it is one of my favourite songs!   I have coloured her with Copics & AT you Spica pens.  When I showed Tim this image & asked him what song he thought of, he said "Bow, chicka, bow bow"  (LOL) What a dirty dog eh????

The CS is Hero Arts layering paper and the flowers, ribbon & rhinestones are from my stash. The CS is from My Minds Eye - a beautiful life paper pack.

Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge - Make us LAUGH

This weeks challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge is to MAKE them LAUGH!!!!!  I had to make a birthday card for my nephew who is turning 18 (18 is the legal drinking age in Canada), so its a big deal!!!!! I chose TEQUILA WORM for my main image.  The sentiment is computer generated.  Inside it says "Enjoy your 18th Birthday!"

 The CS is River Rock (SU) and the DP, buttons, and metal dots (Color Bok) are from my stash. I have coloured him with Copics.

Winter blues.....challenge card

I was perusing the challenge blogs and one challenge in particular grabbed my attention - it was Tuesday Throwdown with Winter Blues - which I definitely have!  We've had a pretty mild winter so far, but I'm so ready for my capris and sandals!!!

So here is a card I made for my Brother in law's birthday last Saturday.  The image is from Kenny K and the sentiment is made on the computer.  I added a button and twine to keep it masculine! It unfortunately doesn't follow the challenge on Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge, but that's ok!!!  I had fun making it!  The CS is Brilliant Blue & Basic Black from SU. 

Kenny K challenge - Anything goes

Another challenge for today.....this week at Kenny K, it is Anything goes.  I just made this card for my brother in law so thought it would be a great time to post it!!!  

 

I have coloured her with Copics and added some sparkle with my stardust gelly roll pen.

Entering the Kenny K White on White challenge....

Good morning everyone! It was so rainy here yesterday (a holiday here in Canada) so I had lots of time to play in my craft room - after the laundry was done of course!!!

I am entering this card into the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge this week. I have used CLUB KID which is one of many Kenny K images - he is always coming up with awesome new images! Go check it out!!!!

The papers I have used are Glossy white & Shimmery white (SU) then there is a layer of mulberry paper from my stash. The white flowers, ribbon and pearl are from my stash too! I have coloured her with Copics & because I WAS allowed a coloured sentiment, I used Pink Passion ink (SU). The sentiment is from my fave Simon Says Stamp set, as per usual..LOL!!!

Anyway, have a great rainy Tuesday (or sunny, wherever you may be!)

Incy Wincy Designs - Mother's Day (or Girlie)

In honour of Mother's Day (in most countries), Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog decided to have a Mother's Day or Girlie theme this week!!!

Here is my project using an image from our sponsor this week - Kenny K. Kenny K has a ton of new images and they are all AMAZING!!!! This image is called SUPER MOM so it is very appropriate for this weeks challenge! Thanks to Kenny K for letting the Design Team work with a few of your super images!

I coloured the image with Copics. I wanted to keep the card fairly clean, to showcase the gorgeous image. The pearls are from my stash! The CS is Emerald City (Bazzill) and the DP is from SU (can't remember which pack!). I printed the sentiment on my computer. I almost wish I had coloured her lips red, like my Mom does. She won't go ANYWHERE without her lipstick!!! LOL

3-fer post.....3 cards, 3 challenges!

Since there was nothing on TV tonight, and it is FREEZING cold out, I spent the evening in my Cave. I managed to make 3 cards for 3 different challenges! I love when they happen easily!! Soooo, I decided to put them into one post to make it easier!! ENJOY!!!

This first card is for the Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge, which is a sketch. I used BLING BABY and coloured her with Copics and AtYou Spica pens. The sentiment is from a Gina K set (Just Hippy) but I thought it fit with this image! The CS is Baja Breeze (SU) and some random scraps of green....and the DP is Fairy Flora from Prima from Simon Says Stamp.

This next card is for the Paper Sundaes challenge, which is How Charming! I made this card for my sisters birthday, she used to take ballet as a kid, and well, who could pass up this cute Linda Ballet from The Stamp Fairy?? The CS is Baja Breeze (SU) and the DP is Fairy Flora from Prima from Simon Says Stamp. The charm was in my stash.

And my third card is for the Doodle Dragon Challenge Blog. Dustin Pike is continually pumping out the images, and to be honest, they are all adorable! This little bunny is just too cute!!! Although if that was me, I'd die in that wagon - LOL! I'm DEATHLY allergic to carrots!! I know...weird eh?? Makes for going out for dinner interesting!! LOL The DP is digi paper and for the life of me, I can't remember where its from! Sorry!! I used the same sketch as the Kenny K challenge this week, since it was a fun sketch!!! The sentiment is from a Whipper Snapper Designs set I've had for AGES!!

Kenny K Challenge - use the letter R

I am entering this card in the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge which is to use something with the letter R! Well, lucky me, I had this card made for my hubby's birthday, and it fit perfectly with the challenge! YEAHHH!!! I love when that happens!! I used RED, RIBBON, Lady RAVEN and RAUNCHY!!!! LOL

Tim seems to like when I make him cards with Kenny K's girls, so I figured I'd make him another for his birthday!!! MEN!!!! LOL

Kenny K Valentine card

Well, this card WAS for last weeks Kenny K challenge but I"ve just been informed that this weeks challenge is CIRCLES, so I kinda sorta qualify for that one!! LO So, I"m gonna enter it anyway..what the heck!!!!!

This is Racey Roxie, from Kenny K's Krash Kittenz collection. I coloured her with Copics then cut her out and pop dotted her in the oval. The DP is from that Martha Stewart mat pad I bought awhile ago. Kept it simple with no "froofie" things since this is for Tim for Valentine's Day!
