Karen's Doodles Oldies But Goodies

I made this card for my Brother in law - the image is Born to Ride, which is perfect for him, since he just bought a new touring bike (not a Harley, a Yamaha! LOL) I coloured the flag like the Australian flag because that is where they are right now. He doesn't look ANYTHING like this guy, but it was a cute image for him. I ran the white CS through my Diamond Plate CB folder and distressed the edges so it looked dirty! lol

I have used Tilda with Violin and coloured her with Copics. I don't know what happened to the wings - I put 3D glittering crystal paint on them and the ink ran - I think it is the paper I used...oops!!! Although they look kinda metallic, they still look ok (I hope!!!), The CS is Bazzill apricot and the DP, ribbon, vellum flowers and flower buttons were given to me in a card kit swap ages ago.

Head on over to Simon Says Stamp Superstore for all your crafting needs!!! They have it ALL!!!!!
Remember, if you join us this week, you get a chance to win a $50 SPREE from SIMON SAYS STAMP SUPERSTORE!!!! Wooooooooo hoooooooooooo!!!! So, what are you waiting for?? Go check out the DT samples and come play with us!!!!!

Designed2Delight - Daffodils

This week, the freebie this week is DAFFODILS from Designed2Delight. It is a beautiful image, can be used for many different occasions. If you didn't get this freebie, head to the shop and pick it up, and start joining us for freebies EACH week!!!! It's so fun and SO addicting!!! LOL

I just left this card blank, without a sentiment in case I need it for anything! I coloured it with Copics and used a simple layout to showcase the great image! The glittery paper is from a mat pack called The Blossoms & Butterflies stack from DCWV. The CS is Bashful Blue (SU) which I ran through my Swiss Dots CB folder, then added rhinestones in the corners.

Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a GREAT Tuesday!!!

3-fer post.....3 cards, 3 challenges!

Since there was nothing on TV tonight, and it is FREEZING cold out, I spent the evening in my Cave. I managed to make 3 cards for 3 different challenges! I love when they happen easily!! Soooo, I decided to put them into one post to make it easier!! ENJOY!!!

This first card is for the Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge, which is a sketch. I used BLING BABY and coloured her with Copics and AtYou Spica pens. The sentiment is from a Gina K set (Just Hippy) but I thought it fit with this image! The CS is Baja Breeze (SU) and some random scraps of green....and the DP is Fairy Flora from Prima from Simon Says Stamp.

This next card is for the Paper Sundaes challenge, which is How Charming! I made this card for my sisters birthday, she used to take ballet as a kid, and well, who could pass up this cute Linda Ballet from The Stamp Fairy?? The CS is Baja Breeze (SU) and the DP is Fairy Flora from Prima from Simon Says Stamp. The charm was in my stash.

And my third card is for the Doodle Dragon Challenge Blog. Dustin Pike is continually pumping out the images, and to be honest, they are all adorable! This little bunny is just too cute!!! Although if that was me, I'd die in that wagon - LOL! I'm DEATHLY allergic to carrots!! I know...weird eh?? Makes for going out for dinner interesting!! LOL The DP is digi paper and for the life of me, I can't remember where its from! Sorry!! I used the same sketch as the Kenny K challenge this week, since it was a fun sketch!!! The sentiment is from a Whipper Snapper Designs set I've had for AGES!!

And, if you made it this far, THANKS!!!! I appreciate your comments, it makes me smile after a long day at work!!! Have a great day!!!

Sneakin' this one in at the last minute.....

This card is for The Stamp Fairy Challenge - which is RED, WHITE & TURQUOISE. This is TOBY and you can get him HERE! I used Riding Hood Red, Bermuda Bay CS and ink. The rhinestones and pearls are from my stash (thankfully I had the right colours....guess that's easy when you have a zillion rhinestones and pearls! LOL). ABC Christmas Challenge

I have purposely NOT packed away my Christmas stamps & papers (like I did last year) so I could get AHEAD of the game for next year! Sooooo, I decided my goal was going to be to try to join in at ABC Christmas Challenges as much as I can! This week its the letter D - Double Trouble - digi image (check), 2 papers (check) and 2 embellies (check)!!! I think this qualifies!!! I hope so anyway!!!!

The image is ANGEL HONEY from CC Designs and the papers, ribbon and rhinestones are just from my stash. The snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch.

Anyway, wish me luck at getting a head start on my Christmas cards!! LOL There's still a boatload of snow out there, so it still FEELS like Christmas!! I know come summer, I won't feel much like making Christmas cards!! LOL

Enjoy what's left of the weekend...I'm heading back down to the Craft Cave!!!
