BLOGAVERSARY!!!!

OMG....I just looked and my Blogaversary is in FOUR DAYS!!!! YIKES!!!! I can't even remember how many years its been? 2 or 3?? Let me go look...yup, 3 years! My first post was Nov. 30, 2007!! Crazy how time flies eh??? LOL

Sooooooooooooooo, I will spend some time in my goodie box finding some GREAT prizes for this special occasion!!!! I will post a list here when I get it all together! If you've seen my prizes in the past, you KNOW they are well worth playing for!!!!!

Oldies but Goodies from Karen's Doodles

This week I decided to showcase First Taste of Snow, an OLDIE BUT GOODIE from Karen's Doodles. I used some purple paper that I had from another project and made an easel card. The small snowflakes are buttons and the larger snowflakes were from a pack I got from the dollar store. I added a Christmas tree charm to the center of the sentiment and added 3D glittering Crystal to the snowflakes in the image. She is coloured with Copics.

Simon Says.....Let it Snow!!!

This week, the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is LET IT SNOW!!!!

I made a shaker easel card with Changito Shovel stamp. Inside the shaker is chunky glitter from Doodlebug. The snowflake is a MS punch and some plastic shiny snowflakes I think I got from the Dollar Store AGES ago! I then added a half pearl on top. The sentiment is from a Crafty Secrets set I've have for a few years, and it is always a good GO-TO set for me! The paper is from my bin, not sure if it is SU or PTI.....can't remember!!!! Sorry!!!

Designed2Delight challenge

This is "Skating Penguin" from Designed2Delight..the freebie this week if you joined us last week! Isn't he CUTE??? The papers are from FIGGY, by Basic Grey and the ribbon is stuff I had in my stash (I think it is American Crafts). I added crystal lacquer to the ice to give it some icy shimmer, although it is hard to see!!! Thanks for another GREAT image Faith!!! HE is TOO cute!!!!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.....Blue & White

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy Designs is a colour challenge - BLUE & WHITE! I used this beautiful Blue Bird image from Aspire to Thrive Children's Charity and made another gift card holder. I coloured it with Copics and added blue ribbon, flowers and pearls.

And here is the inside...this isn't the gift card that is going in this one, but it is the only one I had to show for photo purposes!!! LOL

The Corrosive Challenge Blog......80's inspired!

This week at The Corrosive Challenge blog, we are looking for some 80's inspired creations! I loved the 80's....the music, the clothes (ok, well some of them!), the TV shows, the movies, the lingo....lol....I was a teenager in the 80's and it was some FUN times!!!! I liked everything from head banging heavy metal to Top 40 bee bop stuff!!! LOL And I had the clothes too - leg warmers, stirrup pants, flourescent pink and green Sun Ice ski jacket, Quik Zip jeans, skin tight jeans, etc. Ohhhhh the fun!!!! LOL Ok, enough reminiscing!!!! Here is my card for this week:

I decided to go with the 80's Glam Rock phase and use Metal Babe from Kenny K. I added a Santa hat too (also Kenny K) to make it into a rockin' Christmas card!!!
