Simon Says TAG IT!

Photobucket

This week, our challenge for you is  TAG IT!!!
Use a tag, make a tag, add a tag....as long as it has a TAG on it, in it, etc. it will qualify!!!  Have fun with it, I DID!!!!

Here is my project:

AND here is a close up of my tag:

I got the popcorn container template from the WWW - I just spent about 30 min. looking for it, and can't find it - sorry! BUT if you Google "popcorn container template" you will get a ton, some decorated, some not, some are really small.....but this one is perfect!!! If you REALLY want it, email me and I will look harder!!!

I printed it on white cardstock and added red stripes to make it look like an old fashioned popcorn container.

I have used a Manila Tag - Tim Holtz  and I used Tim Holtz - At the Movies stamp set

The ink colours I used for stamping and distressing are:

Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Broken China Distress Ink
Black Soot Distress Ink
Fired Brick Distress Ink

And finally, the Fresh Seasoned Popcorn image is heat embossed with Fired Brick Distress Embossing Powder  and popped up on the tag.  I attached the tag to the tub with a piece of twine, then I ate all the popcorn!!! LOL

Now...... head to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog to check out all the gorgeous creations from our FANTABULOUS Design Team!!!!

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore!! For fabulous tutorials, inspiration and candy you should keep an eye on the Simon Says Stamp Blog too!!

Keep an eye on the All New Just In Pages there are sure to be lots of fab new goodies arriving right now !!

I am entering this in TUESDAY THROWDOWN (entwined - used twine to attach tag to tub!), and Make it Monday (anything goes).  I couldn't find any other challenges that this fit into, so this is it for today!!!!

Hugs,
Chris

Incy Wincy Challenge - RECIPE time!!!

This week Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog has a great RECIPE challenge for you -
1 image, 2 Designer papers and 3 different embellishments!!!!

FUN hey? I hope you'll join us!!!

This week we are being sponsored by.....Pink Cat Studios

The DT were given a few images to use!!! I have been in love with Pink Cat for a VERY long time - my first PCS images were rubber stamps, before Melissa branched out to Digi, so I own quite a few! They are all great images - available in rubber or digi! Be sure to go check them out if you haven't already!!!!

Here is my card for this week:

The Pink Cat Studio image I used is called CUPID REX - hilarious eh? I LOVE him!!!

MY CS base is SU Pretty in Pink and the DP is from  SU - not sure which collection though - sorry!  My 3 embellies I used were ribbon, a felt flower and a button.  I coloured Rex with Copics and added stickles to his wings. I love the non-traditional Valentines colours for this card - pink and that light orangey colour look really pretty together!  A combo I NEVER would have thought of, but thanks to the SU paper, I discovered it's really pretty!!!

Have fun and good luck!!! I hope you'll join us this week!

My first PAPER SHELTER card & challenge entry!

I discovered The Paper Shelter images one day by total fluke, and am I ever glad I did! Their images are soooo cute!!!  I LOVE them!!!!  So, I purchased a few and decided to try to join in on their challenges!  So, here is my first card using a Paper Shelter image and am entering it into The Paper Shelter challenge blog - the theme is Be my Valentine, so I hope this still qualifies.

I made it for my niece who loves purple.  Inside the sentiment says "Be My Valentine" (freebie from The Stamp Fairy) but I forgot to take a picture of it, and it is already in the mail!  OOPS!

The CS is Alpine Aster from WorldWin Papers and the DP is from Magnolia - Hummingbird Stripe.  I made the flowers with my 2 EK Success Retro flower punches and the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive set of sentiments. I have coloured the image with Copics and added a few stickles to her flowers and my stardust gelly roll pen.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a GREAT Sunday!!! See you tomorrow - I will have THREE posts tomorrow so be sure to stop by!!!!
Hugs,
Chris
