A2 Gift Card holders - you gotta check these out!!!

These cute little A2 gift card holders were bought from Taylored Expressions - I had to decorate them, but I bought the card - does that make sense?? Go to Taylor's store and check them out HERE!!!! You'll see what I mean!!!! Sure beats making your own.....I much prefer decorating ones that are already cut out!!!! LOL I bought 10 bright yellow and 10 chocolate brown. I wanted to get some neutral colours for guys and girls, so these are what I came up with:

Chef Edwin

Hanglar & Stanglar girl

LiLi

Cowboy kid

Deer

Sugar Nellie
I have showed you before what they look like open - they are quite neat eh?? They have little slits inside to hold the gift card and a little tab to hold them closed! Well worth the 50 cents each!!!!! I might have to buy some other colours!!!!! I plan to sell these at my craft sale - was thinking $3 or $4...what do you think????
Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Post It Note Keychains

On Nov.1, I will be going to a Christmas Craft Market to try to sell my "wares"...LOL.....so as you know, I've been busy creating things that I think will sell, or that have sold well in the past! You've already seen the Christmas Planners and journals, so here is the next set of things I made.

I made a whole BUNCH of Post It Note keychains, both large (3x3) and smaller ones (2x2). I never did end up taking a picture of the smaller ones, I will try to remember to do that to show you. I made the cover 6 1/2 x 3 1/4, covered with DP (great way to use up your scraps) and added an image. I used my crop-o-dile to punch a hole and attach a clip and a ribbon for a finishing touch. Very simple, very quick!!! Here are a few of the ones I made:

The Princess is from SU (not sure the name of the set - this was an image given to me ages ago) and the donkey is from Alota Rubber Stamps.

The flowers and sentiment are from TAC (The Angel Company) and the bee on the sunflower is from Alota Rubber Stamps.

These make great stocking stuffers or little gifts for gift baskets!!! I have one hanging in my car to jot things down & I have one in my purse & one in my desk at work!!!!

Thanks for taking a peek! Enjoy the rest of the week!!!

sniff, sniff....I smell something funky.......

I made this card for my sister to give to a co-worker who is struggling with a family of skunks living under her deck! She wanted something with a skunk & I instantly remembered this set of skunks from TAC that I had NEVER inked up!!! OmG eh???

Nothing too fancy on this cards, some bling and a some flowers, and a charm. I coloured the flowers with a blender pen & Groovy Guava ink (to match the DP)

Inside it says "Hope your day is stinkin' big" which is a sentiment from Cute Critters from Clear Dollar Stamps.

Don't forget to enter your card at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog to win some FABBY candy & to make Heidi's birthday wish come true...we still need 100 more entrants ..... you have until Tues. to get your cards uploaded with Mr. Linky!!! COME ON EVERYONE...join us!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few birthday cards

My family is coming over on Sunday to celebrate January birthdays so I had to make the cards. This first card is for my Mom - her birthday was on the 10th. She turned 76!! I used Tangerine Tango CS & DP and I just loved how this turned out in real life. The colour is my fave!!! I paper pieced her dress to match the DP and added glitter brads from Doodlebug. This Tilda is from the Valentine collection.
This card is for my Dad - his birthday is on the 31st. He will be 77! Crazy!!! I am the youngest of 6 kids - my parents were 39 & 40 when I was born! My oldest brother was 18 and was already moved out by then! Anyways, on to the card! The stamp is Classic Car from Little Paper Shop - I coloured it with my copics then used the colorless blender to mess up the brown a bit to give it an old rusty look - not sure if I achieved that, but I think it looks ok!

This one is for my Brother in law - his birthday was on the 12th. The image is from a TAC set that I want but someone sent me a bunch of images so that will have to do for now!! The sheriff badge was a stamp I got at Michael's ages ago. I totally covered it with Crystal Effects, then proceeded to stick my finger in it! DUHHHH!!! So it is REALLY thick!!! LOL
Hope your week is going great - it's HUMP day today - only 2 days until the weekend!!! Which I will spend Sat. cleaning the house & Sunday visiting with family!!! Not sure if I will have a post from now till after that, so have a great weekend!!!
